| FTBL The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. UM Final Chapter

Good- certain players are leaving. 'Bama's defense kept them in the game. The last half of the season, the defense really grew & got better.

Bad- the commentators slobbing UM's knob all game long.

Ugly - TO HELL with 2024!!!!

Oh one more thing.... This team has been outta control with their composure ALL YEAR LONG. They can't handle tough challenges during games. They wilt. THIS IS a RESULT of SOFT practices, SOFT expectations, & SOFT consequences. When guys can't be mentally tough, They are NOT being held accountable. IF they did, it would NOT keep happenning. But it is. CKD has got to get this back to mental toughness or he is gone.

Good-This season is over. CKD first season under his belt. I'm uncertain how I feel about that.

Bad-So much was expected of this team to have achieved so little'. I haven't seen Bama play this consistently bad since the early 2000's.

Ugly-Is this what the Portal and NIL has given us? Is this the Alabama Football of the future?

I reserve the right to edit, but at the half.
Good- BAMA defense 109 yards on 34 snaps with majority coming in shadow of own goalpost.
Bad- rainstorm that hit. Thank God for Walmart poncho.
Ugly- where to start? Let’s see!! #4!!! I’ve been trying to support the kid, but damn that first quarter yall!!!
I’ve gave up on supporting him. IDGAF if he’s a direct descendant of Joseph, he can’t read a defense worth a damn. Deboer has to make a Shawshank decision - get busy living, or get busy dying.

The play calling near the end made no sense. We could have picked up a 1st down inside the five and bled the clock and potentially iced the game with a TD. Lot more of a manageable situation rather than sitting back and hoping for a low % throw to the end zone. Every single play call and pass was to the end zone, which would have left Michigan with all three timeouts and a great kicker. Hypothetically speaking, we get a TD on 2nd or 3rd down, there's still plenty of time for Michigan to march down field for a potential game-winning FG.

Idk I'm not a coach. Just some of the situational play calls this season were pretty awful. Lost four games (most since 2007) this season and only one of those actually was a top 15 team. Doesn't seem like a good sign when your team plays down to their competition.

Good: we did not have to get embarrassed in the playoffs

Bad: this season is not acceptable. Losses to vandy, Oklahoma and a mid at best Michigan team.

Ugly: frustration on both sides of the ball for a lot more of the season than I would have liked

I give the players and coaching a C this year. Not sure what coaching, philosophy, player changes we need but what we have is not working.
