| FTBL The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Boomer

Offensive game plan was so damn bad!!! Do we not have screens for our RBs? Only WR screens that can be slow developing that my 70 year old mother could recover and defend!! Our WRs can’t block worth a shit on the perimeter, so we had might as well run them down the field. I know Coach Homer Smith would be dialing up Lakeland and Rivertown to slow oncoming blitzers.
Very few quick hitting pass plays on slants or mesh plays. Little use of the TE. Coach Smith USED the TE a lot ie; L. Russell.

@Brandon Van de Graaff You talked at length about his potential at RT....

Same as it ever was... Plenty of physical ability. But the negatives are pretty much every other box on the chart.

From August... Pritchett won out because Formby wasn't ready, but there is a reason they had Formby slotted with the 1's to start with.
At right tackle, I expect Wilkin Fromby to eventually get the nod over Elijah Pritchett (even if Pritchett begins the year as the starter). Was told that Fromby has worked his ass off, and while he doesn't have the overall athletic ability of Pritchett, he makes up for it by being more technically sound and that the staff has a lot of "trust" in him. His fellow lineman have that same level of trust in him, which he has earned. One person close to the team told me his overall attitude reminds them of Bradley Bozeman... the kid just puts his head down, goes to work, and does the all right things.

From October...
Also, while I try to walk softly when it comes to targeting the poor play of a player in some areas, Pritchett showed on the Milroe sack/fumble why he can't be counted on.

Earlier this month...
Way too much inconsistency from Pritchett. I think Formby will be the long term answer, he's just not ready yet.

Go back and watch Fromby against Mercer. You're correct in that he isn't ready now and I question if he will ever be athletic enough to be a good player. He has the size for sure but he is beat off the snap even by Mercer. He has zero quickness and that is hard to coach.

They'd like to move him inside this spring if possible.
