| FTBL The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Bayou Brian

Good - This team played One Play At Time, dominate your opponent football. We MUST give CKD & staff their due for coaching up this team that is clearly getting better. Well done! And ANY time we beat the corndogs ass is a GREAT thing!

Bad - as in Badass. . . This Defense is starting to really play tough & fast. Clearly the new scheme is starting to meld into the players muscle memory. One TD in the last 2 games is SOLID & the Swarm defense is really making teams work when they get to the red zone. When defenses shut down teams in the red zone that is a CLEAR indicator that the scheme is being grasped & game planned effectively.

Ugly - Injuries. . . Hopefully, CKD can pitch count guys next weekend & the team can get more depth. I don't know if we are going to make it to the SECCG. I'm not sure if I care to actually. But this team has been remarkably injury free. If guys can get healed up for a playoff run, we might be able to make a dent.

Anyhow, on to Mercer & a good week of practice!

Roll Tide Roll!

Good: That was a beat down. Need that consistently to finish the season. A lot more aggressive on defense too.

Bad: Kick coverage needs some work.

Ugly: The players urge to go "chirp" at the others teams receivers when its a bad pass or the receiver drops the ball and the DB didn't do shit to cause either. What do have to say to them? "I'm sorry sir that I wasn't close enough to you to make a play, I'll do better next time?" :p

Ugly 2.0: Florida State. 😬

Good: one of the best games I’ve seen them play this year.

Bad: The days of Saban are over. The entire coaching booth was emptied and the game was not over. What ever happened to “play the next play… the score board doesn’t matter”. I mean I get it, but I don’t like what image it sets.

Ugly: The look Coach Brian Kelly gave his defensive coordinator every time Milroe ran for a big gain. See below for the death look after Milroe's 72 yarder...

Another good I should have mentioned.... the officiating. We give them shit when they are bad, last night, overall, they performed really well, IMO. The replay official probably should have overturned Bama's TD on the goalline, but that isn't on Williamson and his crew. We've had issues with that group, but they didn't miss much at all last night while also letting the guys play without being flag happy. That was good to see.

It was the ultimate we just beat your ass troll job... you've got your starters in down 35 against our scout teamers and we've emptied the press box.
I'm not disagreeing that could have been a part of the move.

I am saying I've been there a few times, in this case most notably would be the 31-0 beat down they put on Saban's LSU team, and saw what fans were like around the elevators leading to the boxes. As I recall, fRan's staff made an early and quick exit to the locker room.

One day a guy says, "let's put a net behind the field goals so the ball doesn't go in the crowd. At the least, we'll save money on footballs."

But the idea of netting to keep objects from being tossed on the field: vice-versa if you will?

I'll disagree on both... more to it IMO than it simply being a troll, but it's nothing deep... I think they just wanted to be on the field with their players and fellow staff and enjoy the moment.

On the nets, please, no. Maybe you're kidding and I'm not picking up on it... but no.

Maybe they wanted to be with the “beef” in case they had to fight their way out of that hole in the world..

There was a reason I said, "just guessing." I'd rather talk about how Tiger Field is still one of the few with H field goals. To me, when they left, it's a trivial side story to the game.

I'd say locker room versus field...but, I'd have to watch the game again. Listened to 90 percent or more.

I'll add this. I've helped a guy, off and on, for more than two decades that runs an LSU "media outlets." I've met a few guys ... LSU fans ... don't see them but talk to them off and on.

You would think it was a talking point circulating on "Legacy media." Three of them at the the game, "there are some pissed off fans here tonight."

Yes, and no. There are several things it would help; storming the field, mustard bottles and water bottles being thrown ...

I can't find the drawback. Chain link fencing around baseball gets on my nerves; netting doesn't. I don't find it obstructing my view when I'm watching the games.

If so about net behind goal...then why is on only one side of field

I will say this the first roughing the passer Bama player was kind of push into the QB, but at the other end the WR did have his hand on the safely FM.

Well lsu fans don't agree about officiating
But all close calls looked like they got em right. Maybe a few " makeup calls" toward end of game
