Sayin leaving is a kick in the head to me. Gah lee I was excited about him. Followed him this past season and was really excited. Deep down I knew he wanted to play for Saban based on his comments and stating as long as Saban was here he was going to play for the Tide. Say what you want, but this one does hurt.
I get that talent trumps all in college football but why in the hell would a coach want a kid that signed with a school and a month later entered the portal? Guaranteed his career is going to end up like TJ Finley, four schools in four years or something like that. Especially if he saw a BACKUP QB from Washington transfer in and thought that was just too much competition for him. This transfer portal cycle is really, really turning me into a cynic.

He's just another QB .... Different system. He'll be real good but probably need to find right scheme I dunno.

NIL deal. Like I say soon or later, It's going to blow up... The attention on Alabama has brought lot of attention on NIL. I expect a huge conversation on this soon. I got a feeling we'll see a cap on NIL deal.

Needs to be more than a cap. Needs to be contract driven…needs to be fines for games missed not due to injury (ie bowl games).

Mack was a back-up because he was an incoming freshman behind Penix. But he is going to be special. He is also 6-6 and 225. Sayin was right to be nervous. I'm fine with the swap out.

Because Mack is 6-6 and 225, can seriously sling it, and fits CKD's system. The kid is going to be special.

NIL deal are contract. the scholarship are contract. It just need to be structed together as one package... there's no perfect answer to this but right now, cap the NIL deal at 500k for everyone. NIL deals for 500k for Freshman and sophmore. Jr and Senior 1 million.

He is a good sized dude. I would’ve thought Sayin would’ve competed (as he has said many times he’s not afraid to) because CKB’s system is tailor made for QBs
