“You’re so right, Carl”. Sounds like STZs in your future. Cleveland wedges here since mid 90’s. PM me about the wedges if you don’t want to clog up valuable air space here.
Considering we've had threads about football that turned into conversations about what brand name grits you buy...I'm not sure what "clogging up valuable space here" is supposed to mean, 🙃

Cleveland makes a good line of wedges. I've hit them, sort of. One of my golfing buds is a lefty who plays with those...I've hit his from the left. I play right. I don't know if you can persuade me to get rid of my Mizuno's...again, I realize it's a lot of mental things with me...but I'm just so comfortable with them.

A guy I play with during the week (definitely, not the weekend, he's just not good at the game) just got a set from LAZRUS. I don't like the feel of the club at contact...almost feels like I'm hitting a Top Flight club with a Top Flight ball...or hitting a baseball with a wood bat and you didn't catch the sweet spot. It just didn't feel good. The clubs are new enough to where you can still see the spot you're hitting the ball. I was dead on...but it seems like those clubs didn't have a sweet spot. OR, I couldn't find it...

I was hitting my 56 longer than I could hit that 52. I tried his PW, both hooded down and opened up, and I couldn't control the ball. Normally, if I'm within 100 yards in down in two. If it's three, I'm a little pissed off.

To every person out there that says, "it's the player, not the equipment?" They are full of shit when it comes to golf.

On this note, if you want to talk putting, I putt from the left: cross handed. It's an Anser I've had since...geez, sometime between the late 90's and early 00's.

The left I referred to with the Cleveland wedges...he still plays Ping, steel shaft, blades.

I'm going to mix two sports here, and a movie. The Eastwood film about baseball with his daughter saying, "I heard it" with the pitcher she found...Trouble With the Curve is the movie. I know I'm playing EXACTLY into Ping's marketing here...but without even seeing his shots, I can hear it with his irons. Those damn Pings, ping.

He's one of the best golfing guys you can play with. It's never about "who is out" it is always "who is ready to play." It's one of the craziest symbiotic relationships one can have on the links. We were playing a few weeks ago and I told him after three or four holes he's hitting it fat today...wasn't watching him. Just heard it...now, we only played nine and that fucker still shot a 38. I think he had three GIR's. BUT, that's why I play with him so often. I can be looking at a par round, he hasn't hit a fairway all day, and we're still walking off the green tied.

Just making me laugh here...we're up to $10 a hole on most days...and neither of us are losing more than 10 or 20 that day. Ain't making it either. It always ends in who picks up the tab when we have that last bite and drink before leaving the course.

Who of the 2025 signers will play in any games this year?
I think a better way to put that is who won't play. I can't point to one. Remember, this isn't basketball. They have four games and can still 'shirt, right? We may be on the verge of five years of eligibility.

Just saw this. I was adamant about getting him a few years ago when he left Oregon. This kid is super talented, and plays extremely physical. But he hasn't developed into the type of player I thought he'd be coming out of high school. He shows glimpses of it, but it's just not consistent. I truly believe he should've stayed at Oregon with Lanning and developed into a better linebacker there. He still has a high talent ceiling, he's just got to put it together. Im rooting for him.

Something that I'll add to this, he did have an injury this past season.... so that's understandable as to why his production wasnt there last season. I think it was his knee, but im not sure.

I think it's a good sign that we didn't see any of these guys transfer out. That makes me excited for the type of team we may have coming up this season. Guys seemingly buying in to the program and coaches. I feel good about this season.
I pointed to this the other day...when the football building is quiet.

Talk about a guy that EVERYONE thought was gonna be the next big backer. There were no concerns on him, so you have to wonder what happened. He's been injured, but I feel like it has bee something else outside of that, so curious your thoughts.
