🧑‍🤝‍🧑 / 🏡 What's something that's disappeared over the last quarter of a century that's largely gone unnoticed?

I just saw another trailer for *Police Squad." I won't go to the theater to see the movie.

Think about how much the crowds have changed. I think about The Naked Gun. Sure, people were laughing loudly. But, there wasn't any side commentary from the audience. No one was just talking out load to their friends. At the worst, someone would forget to turn their pager to vibrate.

I going to build a little accent fence for a backdrop to three rose bushes I have as well as a bit of a "privacy" barrier to that little nook of the front yard. So, off to Lowe's to put some ideas together this morning.

I got thirsty so knowing they have coolers by the registers I went up there to grab something to drink. No water. All they had were soft drinks. Not a Gatorade or anything of that like. (IN LOWE'S!) So, I asked the cashier about a fountain.

In the far back, other side of the story, down the hall...

It dawned on me. I hardly ever see water fountains.

I've been chatting with @Krimson and he mentioned his camping trip. It brought one I took back to mind and something we noticed on the drive there and back.

No bugs on the windshields on a longer road trip.
You need to put more miles on a car. I still get covered up with them - seasonally - but I would also add that aerodynamics flush many over the car top as compared to the bricks of old.
