| FTBL The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Boomer

You will have to help me understand this statement.... 250+ yards given up against the run? 200 of that was in the first half. Poor defense is how I read that. The way I see it we were forutnate they only scored 24 points.
Very slow developing and running defense.. very late on blitzing

Milroe is so hot and cold. My goodness. Kinda glad he's gonna go pro. I hold my breath everytime he throws. Love his attitude and love for Bama, but man his sporadic play has killed us three times this year.

Hopefully we don't lay an egg next weekend too. This loss pretty much dooms us to a 2nd tier bowl game.

With his speed he may move to receiver.. a QB in the NFL he ain’t.. Maybe the USFL..

Let me post the ugly part:

If he's mostly talking about early in the game, he isn't wrong. Of the 3 INT's, I say the only one that was really a bad throw (an it was bad) was the pick 6 that he just threw right into coverage. The screen was a quick throw were he was trusting his guy (Prentice) to pick up the block, or at least slow the guy down some. The other one, he was blown up when the pocket collapsed almost immediately. But, he also threw a couple of stinkers too, and some too that were just off the mark and made for difficult grabs that ended up being incomplete to led to guys falling/sliding down.

Overall, he had a D game, but it wasn't all on him... and I'd imagine that is what DeBoer was trying to say. And I'd hope the staff takes some responsibility for it on their end as well, cause they also put a stinker out there tonight in terms of the offensive plan.

Let me post the ugly part:

Kind of expected Deboer to try to put lipstick on this pig. That is something Deboer does that I have not been a fan of. I know you do not want to throw a player under the bus but lets not sugar coach this crap either. Players and coaches did a poor job. Call it what it is. Maybe he did because I have not listend but given my observations of CKD, I suspect he continued to spew and even double down the positive non sense.

Ugly… Auburn wins in 4 OTs… The OT rules is GARBAGE!!!… Go to the NFL rules and play real overtime… not that crap I just saw..AND FINE THEM FOR RUSHING THE FIELD..

He is just not that good… Not as a qb….not for the Pros… a developmental league may make it possible..
He will make more money in NIL staying at Bama. I know a lot of people expect him to go pro and even be a 1st rounder. I just do not see it but teams do some crazy stuff based on potential. Somone will draft him because he is a freak athelete and seems like a great kid. What round someone smarter than me will have to answer. I assume his draft stock is declining which means he could decide to come back next year.

What happened tonight is what I was concerned about. Venables had two weeks to come up with a way to take his legs out of the game and put it on his arm. When teams do that he is average especially when the OL struggles. 57 is what we have seen and in a game like this it is magnified. Milore has had a game or two where he lit a team up threw the air but it is the exception.
