Good: Wommack and the D showed up. I think they had one bad drive after a horrible penalty where players were going at it.

I remember a time not too long ago when giving up 400 yards wasn’t considered a good performance. Alas, the times have passed me by!

We were 12 of 18 on 3rd down, 457 total yards, 36+ mins possession. I get it may have felt conservative, but it’s what we needed. We just kept turning the ball over and a dropped TD.

Unfortunately that's the nature of today's game. Offenses have molded into attacking more vertically, maximizing the importance of space, and disrupting the defense's personnel with hurry up. Also a shit ton more presnap motion, which makes it difficult for the defense to defend.
Good: A win against asshole university. Always good. Finally avenging that thumb shit from 2006. Finally taking the lead in the series in Tuscaloosa

Ugly: All of the barn's points were off of turnovers and penalties. We had a shutout for the taking. Letting those pussies hang around by doing stupid shit. Undisciplined play

Look I'm trying not to be nitpicky - and I guess stats will back you up - but there are some glaringly frustrating calls by Sheridan that seem ultra conservative. But then again, how much is it him and just Milroe being a bad QB.

With the amount of money, the NCAA and SEC bring in. It’s amazing to me that we don’t have professional refs. These guys are part-time guys doing it as a second job. Make it a full-time job and hold them accountable. Give them training.

Also 80 yards came on last Barn ‘“drive “ when we made them burn out the clock.
