He mentioned no desire to transfer recently. We'll see with Roydell returning.

Like I've said before.... he's gonna get significantly more carries next season. There's a high chance he's gonna be the starter, but whether or not he is.... we split up carries between our backs, so we'll see him a lot regardless. He looked great when he got his chance in the playoff game. I wish we could've gotten him more carries later in that game, he was starting to heat up. He's gonna be a great player for us next year

A good opportunity to go be the feature back somewhere and help his NFL stock if he's not going to jump yet. NIL is helpful there too. But, the word that he was returning yesterday was a surprise... that was not expected.

I was suprised to see him returning as well. i think he needs to transfer and he'll be good to go. Can we get @SnakeDoc in the bama fan transfer portal as well

I think he was... but saban had to make a choice.. either him or lose one of the young player.

I never saw where he said that. There was someone yesterday that covers Bama that reported he was returning but they got some poor info or jumped the gun.

Kinda wondered with the announcement he was returning, which I wasn't opposed to but a bit of a head scratcher with Justice
Haynes and Jam Miller. I thought those two were poised to take over the lead roles so
Williams coming back seemed odd. Thought he might test the waters in the draft. I kinda see him as a role player and special teams guy at the next level.

Bummed that Roydell is headed elsewhere... Well aware there are more talented cats on the roster, but he was a beast, and never really had the opportunity to feature. Maybe it's all for the better, but someone will get a nice piece with him. Hoping it's not a legit contender.

Please help fill me in - Is McClellan back? Haynes & Jam Miller are really good, but Jace returning makes that room elite.

Is it the injury issues that put him there? Kinda figured he'd go pro, he's got the talent and I don't think another year anywhere is going to make his stock much higher.

Not sure on specifics from his end of it in terms of the foot injury... I'd heard he was expected to go pro but would be welcomed back too. Guess he wants to solidify his draft positioning with plans of a full healthy season as the feature back elsewhere. To me, coming back is a gamble if he has a 3rd injury... but he will probably be fine either way.

Yea that's my worry for him, right now I see him as a 4th to 5th rounder but if he has another injury filled season he could be a UDFA. If he features somewhere and does well he could see a rise to 3rd round...to me the tradeoff isn't worth the risk. But I understand the want to be drafted and get more money.
