And a big issue...being overlooked...

The squad is made up of talent...a few "starters" leave...ok...but top to bottom ...Bama talent level is incredible..... thumbnail difference between the #1s&#2s...

And hc leaving....you can fully expect....players leaving...some came to bama. Some came to play for nick...nick aint gonna be at the "other"school either...

And its not like it's devastating....like it would be elsewhere...

Yeah the one takeaway that jumped out to me about Deboer was that he cares about his players. Put on top of that he can show them his record. What I do not know is can you show them how they increase value for themselves in his system and make it to the NFL. CNS could do that. Have not checked on CKD's history in this area. All will fall waaaaay short of the GOAT.

Let’s face it! No one will ever replicate what Saban has done! But, with Saban still in the building and the influence he can bring to Deboer, He can use that and make it his own! If he is indeed a players coach then once he meets with them they should see he’s not an snake oil salesman!
 
I shat myself when I saw this headline after swiping to the Google news portal on my phone. Quite literally, I was on the crapper, waiting on gravity to do it's thing and then BAM when I saw this.

You would think the main thing Deboer would be able to do is keep the offensive guys with his track record. Surprised about Bonds. Currious if Sark was doing some shaddy stuff using back channels?

Also, at the end of the SEC championship I noticed Smart sought out Downs to talk to him. Can't blame anyone from trying to recruit these guys to their team it helps them and hurts Bama. Just think there may be some shaddy stuff going on. I would have thought CNS would help here but maybe he is hands off more than thought or he just advises when ask.

He posted a picture on Instagram last night that circulated even on X and Facebook of himself in a Ferrari, pretty sure we're not competing with that kind of payout over a guy who was thinking about leaving before Saban retired.

The transfer rules in place invite shady business. But it's easy to forget that the transfer system is a 2 way pipeline. Alabama is still going to be a very attractive destination, and DeBoer has proven he knows how to add key/needed pieces.
