🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Indiana

That Indiana team that drug Bama up and down the field in Pasadena uses the same science based strength and conditioning approach that UA uses.

I have to agree that we look weak in a lot of areas. Zabien Brown, Bray Hubbard, and Tim Keenan look like the only guys on defense that were stacking guys up. Holding the point of contact and able to truly muscle their guy to the ground or direct them where they wanted.

On offense it was Michael Carroll and Cuevas really blocking the best while others got pushed around a lot. Bernard and Horton blocked well. All of that is strength related and we are not like we used to be in my eyes.

For everyone bitching and moaning about Alabama's performance in the Rose Bowl, I have good news. It's over. Nothing we can say or do will change the results. There's a 24-hour rule for a win and there should be a 24-hour rule for a loss.

Yes, Alabama played horribly - offense and defense. Yes, Alabama didn't play like Alabama. It's done. I'm moving forward.

You’re premature, everyone has 4.5 more hours to dwell in the loss.

Well, I would like just a small opportunity to vent my frustrations. These last three years have been taxing on my appreciation of great BAMA football. The disappointment of another season ending poorly will fade, but I'll still remember and suppose about what I thought would be an improvement over the previous two years. Oh, well...

ROLL TIDE!

Well in that case……..

The oline and oline coaching staff has got to be rebuilt. Bottom line.

Doesn’t matter if Bo Jackson from the 80’s was back there running the ball…….lacking push on running plays equals one dimensional offense.

Okay. I’m done talking about this stupid season. When do the Braves start so I can be pissed about them for a while.

I will be glad to listen. Lay it on us.
The talk of 24 rule. Hell i aint sure if i will get over this humiliation in 9 months.

Now go back and look at what he produced in ‘23 at UW with college kids. He took a Miss St transfer RB with a healthy OL and had a 1200 yard rusher along with Penix at QB. Just need the right pieces.
That’s what is hard to swallow! He built that team by his second year (was only there 2 years). That team scored less than 30 only three times all season (before playoffs) and one was their rivalry game (24). They did play a Pac 12 schedule, so we know defense was optional. But they did score 37 on Texas in the CFP game, so it’s hard to say conference defense is the sole reason we have scored less than that team. The drop off in scoring this year is an enigma, given his success in the past on that side of the ball.

And look at Seahawks this year.

I dont know. But worse offense i have seen in many years. Lower 5 % in rushing in cf
And have some realstuds on oline.....
And play calling????? I know...its only bad if it doesnt work...but......it hasnt worked..at all
Not understandable

The thing is this....been beaten bad ...6 times in 2 years( vandy...fsu...ok...mich...ind...uga) ...embarrassed. Thats harder to understand and accept than our run-game this year

So you're saying he just needs two NFL receivers and a top 5 NFL selection at QB and he will be good to go?

And. If you go back n look. He looks totally perplexed on sideline....

Go back n listen...and its "we are well...prepared and ready to go" ad libbing of course
And get skunked
Dont look prepared...dont look ready to go..none of that
Still doing same things over n over that dont work...haven't worked ...and didnt work..
its "TY will save us"...

In the Pac-12. What about this year makes you think this offense will EVER have a 1000-yard rusher? No pulling guards. No 12 personnel. Grubb is a finesse / gimmick head.
