🏈 Very Little Good, A Lot of Bad and The Incredibly Ugly vs. Kirby and Company

Good: the defense played well enough to win. Giving up 28 is deceptive, as Ga had two short fields

Bad: offense had no flow. Cuevas and Miller being out limited us on offense, WE have had terrible luck on RB injuries this year.

Ugly: Pass protection, timing on pass routes. We supposedly recruit highly regarded offensive linemen, but we can't run the ball or protect the passer if they bring more than 4.

At least basketball season is off to a decent start.

Glad to see coming out to talk about Bama!!

Then why play him? I mean it look like he had a brain bound off the field with the first tackle during the Auburn game. He also have a few more during that game. You telling me Mack couldn't have came in?

Same reason(s) a number of other players play with injuries. If everyone that was hurting during week 15 sat on the bench, it would be walk-on city out there.

About the run game tonight and UGa defense. Their D had given up over 100 yards rushing in 4 games this season including to Bama in week 5. Clearly every opponent had more rushing yards than we did tonight. But honorable mention goes to Texas with 23 and UK with 45 yards. The other conference games were higher.

For total yards, we have some company. We were even with Marshall and Austin Peay and had a few more total yards than Charlotte gained (they were 1-11).

So they aren’t as dominant as we made them look in the run game or total yards. Or scoring for that matter.

Yes, herniated disc in lower back from Mizzou game.

I just can't get over us playing the wrong guy and/or a hurt guy at Alabama at quarterback. With the depth we have, we have options. Why not exercise them? Can't understand why you don't even try it in the 2nd half of a game like this. Zero to lose, but everything to gain. Atleast if you get smoked you can say "well, we had a hurt QB1 and went with our backup".

Bumps, bruises, a lot different than a dang herniated disc though. Damn kid gonna be walking with the same posture as an 80 year old within 10 years. Kid needs to use that lump 3’ above his ass for something besides a helmet holder.
I know he wants to win, but his damn parents and the staff have to have a long talk about this.

This pisses me off more than losing!
His health is worth more than a damn football game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You think they are making him play? Or that he's the only QB that's ever played with a back issue? If it was serious enough to hold him out, they would. They have the best team of Dr's and trainers in all of CFB.

I’ve had almost every health issue known to man, but I’ve never had serious back issues. To my understanding that’s a whole different level of pain!

Playing Ty with this condition, whether he is willing or not, is not only asinine, it’s criminal! They have rules for concussions. My God, he could end up paralyzed!!!

I’m sorry and I respect the hell out of your experience, which is considerably more than my 4 years of high school, but someone in authority should take a stand and say no!
First- his health is worth more than a football game
Second- you could physically see the struggles he had, that we didn’t know about and getting enough done to beat the barn
Third- the Bama fans, me included, think 9-3 sucks and expect a championship team every year
And
Fourth- A healthy Mack is a better option than a questionable Simpson and potentially paralyzation.
Do the, unpopular, right thing!!!

Just double checked with someone... he's categorizing it only as a lower back injury. That's what I stuck with before, despite some additional info.... but I'll go back to that. "lower back injury"
