🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Jawga

Good- Ty Simpson has quietly become one of the top QBs thus far this season. He had a couple of yips, but settled back in and got the job done. Grubb with 2 downright ballsy calls, the screen to Proctor and then the boot to Jam to seal it.

Bad- our run defense and run fits were downright pitiful. Communication and LBs getting sucked in and caught in the wash, non existent keeping the edge. Tackling and injuries

Ugly- The bullshit targeting on TIm Smith and then crickets on the hit to Williams and the DB diving head first into the pile and hitting Germie on Ty's QB sneak to seal it. WTH? Finally, Talty's 43 yard FG attempt looked like the first day of junior football practice when you give everyone a chance to kick the ball. He was that kid that couldn't put his pads in right and couldn't get his shoulder pads on. He literally had a better shot of knocking someone out with that kick that was walking into that corner end zone tunnel!! SHEESH!!!

Good.. WE WON... A misdirection play that worked..

BAD....Shit talking players in the bye didn't show up... Receivers dropping some sure passes...Trying to run up the middle when we knew it wasn't going to work... we don't have those type of running backs... predictable playcalling (There was only one misdirection play! AND IT WORKED!!)...

UGLY... Third down defense is our albatross... A running QB is too.. defenders, unable to make a tackle by themselves... defensive backs playing chase... VANDY IS BETTER THAN UGA ..

FUGLY.... Emotionless CKD, assistant coaches and players.. We must get some kind of swagger..
I’m sorry but Vandy is not better than UGA. They do not have the overall team talent that UGA has. They are a good team but let’s not get ridiculous.

Good. Almost all recognized it. TY. And seeing him n his mom after game is without a doubt.... one of bamas greatest moments

Bad. Our STs continue to amaze me. Why. How. Whatever moments. Some have kickers that are sick for a year and come out the next and never miss. Us???????? Omg
On D Their runner fall forward when being tackled. Our go straight down. Wtf

Ugly no points in second half. How did that happen. We moved ball. May go back n rewatch. And #2 on offense. Come on man.... his blocking was awful ... dropping passes. Only his potential keeps him in games

But. RTR. What a great win. Great greatgreat

Good.. WE WON... A misdirection play that worked.. We had several plays that put the team in right direction.

BAD....Shit talking players in the bye didn't show up... Receivers dropping some sure passes...Trying to run up the middle when we knew it wasn't going to work... we don't have those type of running backs... predictable playcalling (There was only one misdirection play! AND IT WORKED!!)... Who was talking shit? Nobody was talking shit during bye. Running up the middle.. we were able to get some yards. As long it's positive yards, we benefited from it. I mean look at our 3rd down situation.

UGLY... Third down defense is our albatross... A running QB is too.. defenders, unable to make a tackle by themselves... defensive backs playing chase... VANDY IS BETTER THAN UGA .. Well, you are wrong. Georgia was 2/8 on 3rd downs. 0/1 on 4th downs. You mean to tell me Vandy is better than UGA? Let's look at their schedule. Charleston Southern, Virginia Tech, SC, Georgia state, Utah State.

FUGLY.... Emotionless CKD, assistant coaches and players.. We must get some kind of swagger.. So you didn't see the pregame video of Tim Keenan, TY Simpson, Jam Miller, etc? You didn't see CKD going off throughout the game? Players focused? The team was so focused that they didn't allow 1 sack, and had 4 penalties for 16 yards.

Man, those dudes ain't getting enough credit for this game. One false start, & other than that, laser-focused.
All I heard on here all of week was that we were going against the 1974 Steel Curtain & we were DOOMED.
How many times were we stopped for no gain or tackled for a loss? Damned few! I heard that Ty is wearing his uniform to church this morning. BECAUSE IT"S STILL CLEAN!

Sure is a lot of negativity after greatttttttt win
Yep. I would much rather win the stats than the game.
I would rather run for more yards & lose, than pass for more & win.
I would rather my coach jump up and down and scream like a lunatic, than win the game.
A calm coach is a dumbass (kinda like Chuck Noll, Tom Landry, Paul Bryant).
I would much rather be Georgia this morning.

I hope the team & coaches celebrated the win & now are concentrating on what they did well & what needs to improve.

Our offensive line was great. We may not have gotten the push we wanted for the run game, but Ty was clean and took no hits from their rush. I mean, we would have only wished for that in the last number of weeks when you look back at the comments. I'm saying ZERO sacks, ZERO!!! Box score shows one, but I don't recall a sack sack.

For the people griping about the run game and running up the middle. Those were body blows for 3 yard average, add those to some of the sideline to sideline screens and they were effective at getting the job done. Except for maybe 1-2 plays, Ty stayed clean in the pocket all night. @50+yeartidefan, I said we needed to get to 120-125 to have a shot, we finished at 117. I think the kneel downs at the end cost us 3 yards!😂

Good --- we beat Georgia in their back yard. Never trailed. Never gave up the lead. Broke the Jawjuh home win streak. Ty Simpson, Bernard and Horton were great. Grubb called a great game except for a few calls. That last play to pick up the first down!

Bad -- targeting call

Ugly --- Defense, especially vs the run. Williams dropped a TD pass. God-awful field goal shank. Georgia NEVER got called for their MANY pass interferences.

Ryan Williams before the game... Should've jkept his mouth shut... He promised a big performance and a double digit win... and didn't back it up... The coaches need to temper these people or they better back it up!.. and I get it we won..
I didn't see any swagger at all..Not anything close to the way it used to be and should be now..
