🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. AweBarn?

Good: The team did not give up. They kept on fighting throughout the game. It wasn't always pretty, but they figured out some things. The Running game was there tonight. T

Bad: Ty and the receivers not on same page. The plays were there tonight, but they couldn't just haul it in, or Ty missing open guys.

Ugly: Watching that zone defense by Bama was not pretty at time. I hate soft coverage, but damn, it works. Miller's injuries.

All in all, I'm glad they fought hard and didn't give up. I wish we had saw that in Sooner's game.

Good... We won against a team, that was actually much better than they have shown all season...They hated Arnold... They hated Freeze..They played HARD for Durkin (most likely the next coach)...The "exhausted" defense saved the day...Never can tell about UGA, maybe we have their number!

Ugly- We are just not consistent on offense..The injuries we got today... penalties at the worst possible time...

Good - the win, huge relief. Hubbard’s INT and fumble created. Ty’s 4th down pass for the TD. Auburn dropping about 8 open passes. Auburn QB missing some wide open throws. Auburn’s wonderfully timed penalties.

Bad - Continually losing containment on that QB, Ty’s accuracy, Ryan Williams not getting a target, lack of downfield passing, 4-17 on 3rd downs. Offense line pass protection, which was often horrendous. Even Proctor was getting hosed and whiffing. The effort by the O-line on some plays look very lazy. Those 2 long pass plays by Auburn. Lack of any pressure on their QB, giving him all day to pass or run. Some of the hits Ty took, holy cow. We should file battery charges on their D-line after that game and jail our O-line as accomplices.

Ugly - 122 yards passing, 19-35. Longest pass play was 16 yards. Some rough penalties. Jam finally having a big game and then getting injured. Being out coached most of the game by Durkin. Letting the QB rush for 108 yards and nearly 5 yards per carry. Brooks special teams gaffes, he’s the one that missed the easy tackle in the long punt return to start the Oklahoma game. Then a terrible hit on a fair catch tonight followed by not falling in that muffed punt at the end, or keeping it in bounds. I know guy defend him for not practicing with special teams or whatever, but if that’s the case, he shouldn’t be out there in these big games playing special teams.

Good- It is a win and gives CKD a 10 win season in year 2. The team is resilient for sure but I prefer that they played better and did not need to be.

Bad- Play calling???? team goes up 17-0, forces a 3 and out then the first play is a gadget play that failed and the offense went 3 and out. You have been gashing them running the ball then that is the play you call? Passing plays seemed to be called mid range which takes time and Simpson did not have that time. Even when it was 3rd and 5 or 6 yards they were running 15-20 yard patterns. I just was not getting the strategy our thinking Grubb was having with the play calling. Now at times there were some receivers open and Simpson just did not pull the trigger.

Ugly- Bama is a bubble team for the 2nd year if they fall to UGA in SEC Championship game. Lets hope that does not happen. I suspect UGA will be favored.

BTW during SEC final Chris Doering took a shot at Bama fans for not showing CKD more respect.... Maybe he is right but much is expected at Bama. That is just the way it is. It takes a special type of person to coach in that pressure cooker. If that is what you are made of then it also creates championships.

Good - the fight in this team, running tough, Ty running hard. It got called back on a hold, but he completely sold out to get to the pylon on that run and took a huge shot.

Bad - losing momentum, and some inexplicable playcalling. Bad (in a good way) - what a gutsy call to go for the TD over the FG. It completely changed what auburn had to accomplish on the next drive.

Ugly - all that orange. and, our punt team not falling on that ball - you can't advance a muff. Everyone knows you dive on a muff.

Beautiful - Six in a row.

Wasn't he a freshman that was trying to pick it up? I know what you mean, because if he just fall on the ball. the game would be over then. Bama gave the 10 seconds to do one of thought Hail Mary try pass.
