🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. A&M?

If you study stats you'll see points per drive mentioned often. Bama has been one of the best over the last few years. Last season they were the nations best at just over four points per drive.

Today, on offense, 27 pass attempts with 28 rushing attempts: 55 total offensive plays.

That's almost a point per play, folks.

I know Mac is getting all the love and I do think he is playing at an elite level but our line is doing an elite job of giving Mac a clean pocket and our receivers are elite.

Good: Like alabamajack said, the offense is elite. Mac is poised, the O-line is looking really solid and the skill positions are ridiculous.

Bad: Outside of that stretch with like 3 out of 4 penalties in one series there wasn't anything too bad. And even that ended in a touchdown.

Ugly: Asses don't quit like they used to. Sign of the times really. Just gotta get used to seeing the defense containing instead of dominating.

Good Tua who? Sorry I had too! mac is doing his thing!
Bad Is 0 a real number now?
Ugly Not getting to the QB !!!

By the way, I'm guessing that 0 is a real number because, I watch some from other confer having player wearing that number?

Good - Mac was on target all day, and Metchie showed us what we've been hearing about. Najee ran hard, and it's so great to see him making the cuts and finding lanes that he wasn't his first couple of years. Najee's hands in the passing game will be clutch for us.

Bad - Secondary and Linebackers look vulnerable in pass coverage.

Ugly - I wouldn't call anything truly ugly about this one.

Good: Battle and the frosh DB, Moore? showing up to play today.
Bad: a “touch“ push instead of tackling the RB at the sideline in the 1st half. Bad technique = TA&M TD
Ugly: 0 sacks. We applied pressure but I think we gotta do better with the all-SEC schedule.

What was the final total yards? Close to 10 yards a play average?

Good: Going a different path #13 is a player and is only going to get better..
Bad: Giving up 400+ yards so I will say the D as a whole.
Ugly: Hard to choose but I will say the Pass Rush for now. The young secondary needs some help.

I like how @94 Grad simplified it... Those 3 things were concerning! In the spirit of the thread, I'll add:

Good:
-Mac looks fantastic. Throwing it pretty effortlessly. The 1 INT was kind of a freak play... At the same time, hopefully he's not just prone to Pick 6's.
-Waddle and the WR's. We heard Big Meechie was good, now everyone knows is. Huge day for our big 3!
-OL / Pass pro. Mac was pretty clean all day... Run blocking wasn't great, but credit to TAMU I suppose.
-D. Wright with a pick 6... Huge play. Our best defenses used to produce points, hopefully a sign of things to come
-Malachi Moore. Freshman that was in the right place all day! Impressive
-**Sark's play calling... So far he looks much more comfortable. It just feels more balanced and simplified. Don't know if it is, but it feels that way. I think last year more may have been less... Meaning we had too many weapons to use and keep happy. This 'O' is in a nice rhythm.

Bad:
-What appeared to be miss communication or misunderstanding between LB's/DB's. A few costly mistakes that need to be ironed out
-Punting. Where is Perine?!
-Pass rush... Mond looked pretty comfortable most of the afternoon.

Ugly:
-Nothing stood out! So that's awesome. RTR

The Good: Mac's rapport with that group of WR's. Every game like that adds $ to their respective future NFL contracts.

The Bad: 3rd down defense. hasn't mattered yet, but its been far from ideal after 2 games.

The Ugly: The group of beta college aged males in my section who flagged down TPD officers because some people were not wearing masks.
