You are going to have a heart attack and flop out somewhere if you keep worrying about the games so much.

I know you can't help it and neither can I sometimes. I remember that my mother was the same way you are, too worried to watch the game at times.

I had just noticed that you have stated on several occasions about how overly nervous you get.

Stop it. :D

Anyway, Coach Saban is going to soothe your nerves in the coming years.

She and I are pretty similar there Altie.

I don't stop watching the games ever...but right now I am as nervous as a cat covering a turd on a tin roof.

"A cat covering a turd on a tin roof."

I don't get quite as nervous as folks like BamaDelta do. I like people like that though, it shows their level of dedication.

Now, during the last few minutes of the LSU game, I was right there with you guys. I didn't stop watching, but I was ready to snap.

she and I are sisters in nerves.

I get reeeallly quiet watching, have to pace, have been known to pound the floor, but I don't scream. That much. It scares the kids.

yeah...I will be equally as nervous Saturday as I will be vs. UF. I can't help it.

Same here, WendieLu. I will be nervous too. Maybe not as nervous as you two gals, but nervous just the same.

My wife screams and not only does it scare our little girl, it scares me. :D

You did a good job on their little outfits you show them in in your avatar, btw.

I have to admit that if by some freak of nature we lose come saturday, I will become physically ill for a couple of days at least.... Hopefully that isn't going to happen though.

I was in the same boat CAD.

I work at an arena and we had a hockey game that night, the doors opened as the game was winding down, I stood with my back turned and asking the OU grad standing next to me to tell me what happened. LOL

I'm praying I get to finish watching the game against Auburn, as I have to work a hockey game that night also.

I do my share of pacing back and forth right before a big game. Normally I'm a quiet guy but when Bama is playing I become the most animated person on Earth, which is why people can sometimes get a little freaked out when they watch a Bama game with me for the first time.

My wife, the resident barner, finally had enough of my smack and put me on notice tonight. I told her that after six years of her orange crap that, "it was ON and payback was going to be hell."

I hope we stomp the crap out of them.

She'll still be the boss, but I'll enjoy the day for sure.

I agree! This year has been the worst as far as nerves for me...go figure. Funny thing is this is the only area of my life in which I worry. I don't know how chronic worriers deal with life. It's totally exhausting even to be just a once a week worrier.

You'd be proud of me though. I wasn't as bad vs. Miss. State. Even down 7-5 I wasn't really worried (mad but not worried  ).

I will be a wreck if Auburn gets up early or shows sign of promise on Sat. I'll be out of my seat and on that sidewalk just a pacing. Funny because there is a guy on my row that disappears half the time during certain games. He is a huge Alabama fan and lots of fun to sit with during good times. I never understood why he would always leave though.

Now I know! He's just like me. :D

On big games I have to eat big the night before, cause on game day stomach so knotted up nothing will go down but beer and they go down fast.

I understand completely. When we are doing well, there is so much more to lose. You are bound to be more nerve wracked.

Well, you have exhibited good taste/sense in your choice of what to worry about. I mean, if you have to do it, do it for 'Bama.

Yep, you had a bit of fan swagger. Knowing that the game was not going to get away from 'Bama, but disappointed in the initial start. Same here.

Don't even think it, BamaDelta. They will not have a chance to get an edge on 'Bama in the early part of the game or any other part. I have a feeling this group of 'Bama men are going to come out and lay down the gauntlet and pound the PlainsTigers into the ground right from the start.

No way. You can plan on not being sick, RT1969.

Be the most obnoxious, leering, detestable and annoying fan/husband that you can possibly be for a few hours after the game.

She will love you for it.

Awww man, I feel for you having to work a game on the night of the game. I bet it works out for you though and you get to see it all in real time.

JC, the last meal I usually get in is Friday as well. I usually start slowing down by Thursday night. :)

That's why I never tailgate...I never eat. For all the talk of the stadium food prices doing up I haven't noticed in one iota. I get my one Diet Coke, and I'm good to go. :D Football season is always a great diet for me. I lose about 3-5 pounds.

That she did. Arrg, I likes me some pirate costumes.:D

I'm not making this up...and I saw the shirt in a Crimson color no more than an hour ago while placing a few...well, we'll leave that one alone.
