| MBB/WBB đź“ş NCAA Selection Sunday Show: 6 PM ET on CBS (and streaming.) ~~ Alabama #1 Overall Seed.

Curious. Over the last five years Lunardi has been "below par" on his bracketology picks—88th out of 148. Do you suppose people look at JL more because he has "ESPN" beside his name?

I've followed him very closely over that time period he has been spot on usually only missing one team at worst. Last year he missed one team and had them as the first team out. Being on ESPN certainly gives him huge visibility.

Teams in versus accuracy of where they are seeded is what I'm pointing to here. Ranked 88th puts him below average on where they are seeded, not if they are seeded. Last year he had 68 picked correctly, only 38 seeded correctly.

It doesn't mean a whole lot other than showing Alabama fans' focus has been on getting in, not where they were seeded: understandably so.

I see your point not an easy task and the ESPN gig is not his full time job.

I don't know if that's full time either. I remember reading about it and coming away with the impression it was a Roger Hoover type role with a title and some admin duties ... somewhat like what we'd see from CTSN.

He is employed by St. Joseph's University AVP marketing.

BTW, I've seen him in interviews his brackets are not what he thinks it's what he expects the committee to do.

March 4th, with an early tip on CBS, is looking crucial. A&M has an advantage in these last seven games. If it comes to a tie breaker, right now it would boil down to how each team did facing Tennessee. A&M has UT at home in two weeks. I'd rather see Bama in the three seed than at #2.

JL update his brackets today still has the Tide the second 1 seed AP #3 NET #2. Finally moved ahead of TN in NET.
IMO this draw is more difficult than the last.

It's another of his brackets that doesn't look right. He has Alabama in the Mid-West and Purdue in the South? Houston in the East?

Yeah, I'm beating that damn horse again. It's not if, it's where.
