| MBB/WBB đź“ş NCAA Selection Sunday Show: 6 PM ET on CBS (and streaming.) ~~ Alabama #1 Overall Seed.

I think Houston will be the #1 overall seed, personally. We beat them obviously, but they play with so much athleticism I find it hard many more teams matching up with them the way we do. We have transformed our roster and play a lot like them as we have length , speed, and endurance. Gonna be a fun second half of the season to watch as teams settle into conference play and we see if teams like Alabama and Houston can keep the pedal to the metal or if complacency rears it's head.

January 24th, 1987, Alabama beats Tennessee to mark a 15-2 record.
January 14th, 2023, a Bama win over LSU Saturday and the Tide will match that record...three and a half decades later.

It just crazy to me thinking I was two years out of high school that season...hell of a fun team to watch. If I'm not mistaken, the Tide was a two seed that year losing to Providence in the first round.

McKey, Ansley, Dudley, Farmer, Gottfried ...

There's your trip down memory lane this morning.

It was Providence and in the Sweet 16 against some little white guard named Billy Donovan and slick looking coach Rick Pitino. We finished 28-5 SEC champs, regular season and tournament. That was a fun group to watch with Terry Coner and Keith Adkins too. Craig Dudley, not Erwin for those that may not know.

Great memory and great team. You and I are closer in age than I thought we would be. I would have been out of high school 5 years getting ready to graduate College.
