UCONN is one hell of a team, and the fact Alabama stayed in the game until late, it shows we can keep up with them. I expect Oat to go back to T-town saying " Okay, I like UCONN team, I need to adjust to match their playing style a little." Trust Oats is going to get bigs.. and we should dominate next year.

First, this team is a legend. They played with heart and fire all throughout and they never gave up.

Love the intensity Sears, et al, showed going after it in the final seconds too. We got game.

Adjustments? We kept going at their bigs. We just stopped ahooting until late in the second half. They guarded us the exact same as they did in the first half, we just got away from our game that had us playing well in the first half. That's very frustrating for me.

And turned down open 3s to keep going inside...fell into same game we tried vs florida...in sec ...don't understand...

Its like...you cant run ball in football...but 3 n 5 keep trying to run for first down...

Went back and looked at the box score this morning and there were some surprises. Wrightsell played 31 minutes, but the production just wasn’t there. 6 pts, 1 board, 1 assist.

Dioubate, Stevenson, Walters and Pringle combined for 2 points and 4 rebounds.

Even more impressive that we stayed in that game so long with 4 guys doing the lions share of the work. Ok, really 3 guys. Griffen’s stat line was pretty empty as well (8 pts, 0 boards, 0 assists, 3 turnovers).

This is probaby the stat of the game and reflects the significant deficiency this team had all year. Not going to take it all w/o more from the guys in the paint.

At one point looked like Nelson was going to go into beast mode and take things over but UConn inside guy was to good to let that happen. Nelson usually has length on people guarding him but not against the UConn big man.

He and Oats basically said last night they are going to get draft feedback then go from there. IMO, if it's just based on draft feedback, he will return... but that's just a guess... and NBA draft projection/stuff is out of my wheelhouse.

Clowney starting for the Nets recently after some G league play. Bediako was waived but rejoined the Spurs G league team on March 7th 2024 according to Wikipedia.

I whole heartedly agree! I think with another 15-20lbs added to Nelson’s frame as well as another year of playing against some of the best competition in the SEC, it will only improve his stock.

Just think how it kept our FG kicker...Reicart......at bama ....in stead of jumping into the draft..
