Bowl projections for Alabama football

CBS: College Football Playoff

Jerry Palm’s latest bowl projections put the Crimson Tide in a first-round CFP game as the No. 10 seed against No. 7 seed BYU, playing at BYU on Dec. 20 or Dec. 21. The winner of that game would then face No. 2 seed Ohio State in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1.

ESPN: Las Vegas Bowl

Mark Schlabach predicts Alabama will go to the Las Vegas Bowl, playing Dec. 27 against Arizona State.

247Sports: Citrus Bowl

Brad Crawford sees Alabama heading to the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl in Orlando, thus not making the 12-team playoff. In this projection, Crawford predicts the Crimson Tide will face Illinois, ranked No. 24 in the AP top 25 right now.

ESPN: Gator Bowl

Kyle Bonagura projects Alabama will go to Jacksonville, Florida for a Jan. 2 matchup with Clemson, taking part in the Gator Bowl.

Hopefully Deboer will take the barn a whole lot more seriously than Saban ever did. He slept on them more times than not, save for maybe 2011 and 2018. On the one hand, them beating Kentucky probably says way more about Kentucky than the barn. But, on the other hand, if history has taught us anything, it's that a barn team that believes is a dangerous thing. Thank goodness the game is in T Town and not auburn this year.. They only bring a handful of fans whenever they are the road team, and that little handful won't be enough for them to generate that jordan hare energy. I think we beat them, but it may not be by a ton. But, yeah, we win out, and we make round one of the playoffs. That's almost a certainty

CNS was 12-5 I believe. Pretty good but he had some stuggle wins. He did widden the gap the last few years to make it better than it was the first 10-12 years.
