| FTBL Fall Camp 2023 Thread

They'll get plenty of conversation between drives via the coms system. But they can't have the direct communication through the helmet like others mentioned.

The tradeoff is that Rees is more comfortable calling better plays for Milroe (or any QB) by being up high in the box seeing what the D is doing. Hopefully that will lead to better QB play and better play by the offense as a whole.

Yep, I can definitely see how the birds eye view is nice for an offensive coordinator.

I don't see this as a big deal: whether Steele or Rees is on the field versus the box. I do think the lines of communication are a big deal. IE: With Steele and Bala in the box, to whom are they relaying the calls?

They do have analysts that holds up signs or scout QBs that relays the play calls to the players on the field.

I think the RB coach Gillisperie and Robinson has the best relationship with players so they know how to communicate with players. I noticed new coaches is up in booth along with Joe Cox. Rest have relationships with players.

Looks good, IMO.

Would add H-Back (Niblack or Outz).

Would put Campbell or Marshall at WLB.

Would put Downs at SS, Moore at Star, Key at FS. Downs will play early and often, Smith too when he eventually returns.
