šŸˆ This year's JR class may not be finished yet- Devonta Smith returning?

USC will open in top 25 next year, UGA will be fairly high as well as Lsu. Schedule won't be a negative talking point next year, if it is then it will definitely be a sign of anti-bama agenda. As far as Jrs, I hope ruggs and Smitty stay but ruggs is mocked by everyone as mid first .
USC opened the 2016 season ranked #3 in the AP and we still saw the "Bama has a weak schedule" arguments.

UGA visiting Tuscaloosa could be a "saving grace" in that regard. They have a very home friendly schedule next season sans visiting Tuscaloosa. (Now that I say that, they are on the road against UofSC.)

Clemson is in same predicament....they play ND and USCe....ooc...plus a weak ACC schedule.....

I’m not a Saints fan, or any NFL fan at all, but I think Tua’s best outcome is to go now, and fall enough for NOLA to pick him up. Brees’ understudy for a year or two, then take the reins of a quick pass offense for a good team.
Not being an NFL fan, I didn't know who they had waiting in the wings. They may have their replacement already, I'm just thinking about the silver lining if Tua drops perhaps he gets with a better team.

That's always a possibility but also possible that one of the crappy teams makes some trades to get back in the late first round to grab him, too.

Usc ended 2016 #3 , not sure what they were when we opened with them. Again, Georgia , LSU, the barn , and UcheaT will probably be ranked along with Usc. That's way better than anything Clemson has in the ACC...not even comparable . Go 12-1 and win Sec or finish 11-1 and we re in great shape.

You don't think Bridgewater or Taysom Hill is in line?

Bridgewater will be a free agent after this season and he did enough during Brees' absence to secure a nice payday as a starter elsewhere. Hill is not anybody's QB of the future. He is, relatively speaking not a direct comparison mind you, to N.O. what Slade Bolden is to BAMA.

That is like saying my golf game is like Justin Thomas....we both play with clubs and golf balls (Hill vs Bolden)

I could see Bridgewater staying on with NO, though. Brees has very few years left and he could probably get himself a nice payday from them this year. Definitely don't agree with Hill, though. Hill is a doing-everything type of player, though, so I would agree he's more a guy you try to develop some as a passer but only have him as your third option while he does other things, too.

You would think Smitty would be the front-runner for the Biletnikoff next year. He was the one receiver that I thought might come back. I think Jeudy has been a done deal since last year. Ruggs will be interesting, though. At the very least, Smitty back with Waddle adds some fire power.
