What he says may be true, but as former UA QB you do not say it. Let their pile steam and let their own people stir it. Let them soil themselves it’s not our business.
If he was currently on the roster, you don’t say it. If you’ve finished your playing days, your experience can provide insight. He’s not speaking on behalf of the school, the team or the conference.

He said that on his You Tube Channel with Trent and Chris.
It's everywhere.

Considering where AJ's feelings about Hugh are rooted leads me to say "talk some more." Remember, one of the few blemishes on AJ's Bama career were games against Ole Miss and Hugh ... just when he was kicking off his "fund raising" campaigns on the recruiting trail.

He (they) know what will spread into the print media, which for them is free advertising. I do sorta wish the print media would go back to reporting on sports more and stop quote mining from podcasts. If there is some legit breaking news on one, sure. But 99% of this stuff isn't worth being reported, it's just all about an attention grabbing headline and trying to stir up fans for clicks and facebook comments. Had the TV on last night and one of the local news stations was on... can't even remember which one, I think 33/40 though. Half of their sports segment was just a minute long clip of that peacock Cam Newton (dressed like an absolute dumbass) talking about how the 4 most important people in AL are the auburn HC and QB, and the UA HC and QB. Shit, show some Barons highlights or something. ANYTHING.

Both on the "full of shit" comment and Bama themed podcasts.

I know the name Mick Gillespie. I knew it before today and I haven't a clue as to how. Gillespie co-host a show called *Elephant in the Room." His co-host is Jake Coker. I've listened to this one a bit this morning.

Here's one of my biggest issues and it's just like a lot of social media sites. I don't give a damn about seeing a picture of someone's dinner.

How does that relate to podcast. In the one with AJ he and Trent are talking about the women they saw in the stands that Saturday (Bama lost to UofSC for the first time, maybe second, in history.

For content on a podcast I want content. Pretty simple.

He also has one called Bama Tailgate he does that with Alphonse "Shank"Taylor. This is one I have been watching the last couple of years.

I haven't seen/listened to that one. I've heard about the production. The next time you find a good one tag me.

After seeing Shank online (X) I have my doubts about their football content.

I'm a tough one to please here. I want to learn something. At the very least give me something I hadn't considered to think about for a minute. Heck, man. 90 percent of the time I don't listen to the games I'm watching...how do you think I'll judge all these different shows?

I know you can, but I had to stop watching it for the last one. Shank was like F-this and F-that came out of his mouth more than once. I can take it like two or four times.

So. Content, eh?

Look, I don't necessarily want to hear one of the guys say, "inside zone" or hear a guy like Andre talking about a "combination backside blocking scheme..." While I might understand what they are talking about they are also getting too deep in the weeds; over-analyzing. On the same note we are getting into some football talk if we have a guy like Wallace talking about how the WOLF sealed the end pushing the play back inside to the 'backers. Those can be solid analytical conversations (one sided, granted)

I understand where you are coming from with the F-this/that. In my personal opinion, I treat it like I do reading: I tend to skim through that stuff and pay closer attention to what I consider more important details.

AJ faced Freeze in 2013, we shut them out in Titletown. 2014 was Blake Sims and 2015 was Coker and the miracle TD play that bounced off a UA players helmet. That’s what I remember anyway….

If I was bitching about the way Freeze was recruiting back in 2012 I'd say the chances are high he (AJ) was seeing and hearing the same thing. While we have our Barkley's and Manzeil's who say "I've got mine, you get yours" you still have those on the other side of the fence that don't care for folks who doing the very thing.

(This is one of the things I've questioned about Saban and his decisions on staffing. I still don't understand why he re-hired Lance. Yes, hell of a recruiter...but one who cleraly had lost his "step" when he returned to UA after his stint in Tennessee. I have NO clue how Hugh would have been accepted in the locker room. I do know he wasn't a "players favorite" on the team at that time (and still, today.) Crazy thing is, I get why Saban was interested in having Freeze on staff with the WR's and QB's given the Tide's' situation at the time.

Beating us was a LONG time ago for Freeze. A different time, different teams, different circumstances. He's not going to catch lightening in a bottle again
The last two times down there we've had to pull one out at the last second and four OTs, this against an unranked opponent. The streak of five is awesome, and the way things should be, but nothing is ever certain. All I know is that I'm torn between wanting them to never win another game, and wanting them to have no program at all.
