It's going to be a good defense. Efficiency numbers should improve giving that 'good' evaluation room to have an adjective added to proceed it ... If they can get two guys to get them some good pressure from the edges it's group that can be a really good defense: bordering on great.

Can’t rely too much on preseason rankings in this social media era, especially with thinner rosters due to NIL. But it can still make us feel warm and fuzzy inside.

I wouldn't say that about Ty. Straight line speed? Yeah, a difference there, no doubt. Being elusive in the pocket? I'll stake Ty is a better scrambler than we've seen in a few years. The way he is able to slide around in and out of the pocket is something people have pointed to since he's been on campus.

Think about this. You're commenting on a kid I've watched more closely than any other kid on campus in the last several years.

I know what he can do.

I don't know what I can do about lingering "Shulaitis."

He was told that the offensive line is currently the best in the country. He was quick to say they havent done anything yet to prove they’re the best. He then went on to talk about the Joe Moore award.

I realize. I watched the interview. But to even assert that implies the belief that his unit can be elite. I guarantee next season none of our OL will be mentioning the Joe Moore Award in offseason/preseason interviews.
