🏈 The Real Good, The Good and The Ugly vs. C.Southern

Real Good- we win and no major injuries, Henry ties with Trent with 21 TD's

Good-lots of game reps for reserves, Harris 1st TD as a Bama player, BO playing time too.

Ugly- didn't need to lose the shutout, it wasn't the 1st

Real Good- Getting reps for the backups and seeing BoScar and Harris play well. Also, injury free.

Good- Coming out and playing hard and hungry, despite it being a FCS team (I thought we might be a little sloppy today).

Ugly- Hand and Evans seem to be much slower than I remembered.

Only thing I can really say for bad or ugly would be the way Bateman played... being there live and seeing just how open receivers were at times and Bateman either just flat out missing it and not throwing there or being so unbelievably late that it was mind boggling. He has regressed unbelievably since the beginning of the season.

Pretty much agree. Except not really sure if Bateman has regressed or never really played that well. Tiny sample size but he did have a few good throws vs Ole Miss... Also had some bad ones.

Hopefully Barnett is primed to beat him out this Spring... Seems like Bateman throws lollipops. JMO

Ugly... our Oline still got beat on passing downs...

Speaking of this ...

Did anyone happen to notice how soon in the 1st quarter the offensive line started shuffling 2's and 3's in?

The first I recall seeing was Korren and I'm guessing that was about mid-way through the first.

I think it's more the distance Coker's put between himself and the field. He was throwing some darts today. It's clear the coaches knew what the heck they were doing - imagine that?

RTR,

Tim

Real Good: Lots of playing time for the younger / backup guys

Good: My whole family, 7 of us, attended the game.

Ugly: Losing all those seniors. Man, we lose a lot of talent this year. I didn't realize how many until they all lined up on the field with their families prior to kick off.

Ugly+1: Ragland didn't get to hear Dixieland Delight. Bummer.

Pretty sure Korren Kirven started. This is a picture from the first snap of the game...

I never saw Dominick Jackson in the game at all, and I was looking after I noticed 78 on the first play, though I haven't looked at the game participation yet. Jackson was dressed tho as you can see here:

Koren played that entire first drive too, Henry's TD run:
