BUT, I'd watch the money and see how much of it gets "consultant" diversions to Biden interests. That will be part of the deal.

I heard the FEC Chairman say tonight that they could have gone through channels and had the money 'transfered legally' within less than three weeks.

They chose not to follow procedure, slap a different name on the funds, and went from there. He went on to say that money could be frozen by injunction, but it would have to be filed by and outside party.

I haven't read anyone, from a legal perspective, who has addressed this. The "aftershocks" have delayed the analysis. All we have had is the early knee jerk reactions.

The Democrats haven’t held their convention so there is no nominee, yet. The bigger issue, IMO, is that the Democrats could forward a ticket that nobody voted for. The votes in every primary were for Kamala as the VP nominee, not President. For those states where Biden won the primary, most state laws say that the party can nominate a new candidate (not the people). So the Democrats, who constantly complain about Trump destroying our democracy (I know, we’re a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy), are presenting a tandem that didn’t get a single vote but were picked by Democrat elites, not through a democratic process.
