🏈 The Good, The Bad, The Ugly and The Worst

Good- If you don't win there is no good to it.

Bad- Penalties a the very worst time.

Ugly- Penalties

Worst- Losing the game

Wishing Kenyan Drake nothing but the best in his recovery. I will repeat this too.

Good: Jeremy Shelley is a great punter.

The Bad: We gave it away.

The Ugly: Worst defensive secondary I can remember in my 50 years of watching Bama Football & Lack of Discipline with Stupid Penalties

The Worst: Kenyan is done for the year I am sure. Does he go pro early with a season ending injury? Hoping the best for him and hoping I am dead wrong about the severity of the injury.

the good: not a whole lot. but maybe losing will wake the team up and show them what must be done to win.

the bad: stupid penalties at bad times

the ugly: turnovers at CRUCIAL times

the worst: losing Kenyan Drake, most likely for the season. thoughts go out to him for a speedy, but not too fast, recovery.

The good: we put ourselves in a position to win at the end. Blake drove us down and he almost did it. We were ahead most of the game despite poor offensive showing
The bad: with all our 5 star athletes, our O couldn't overcome a good D. Our D couldn't stop a determined O. Our kicking was off tonight - I was optimistic after the first 4 games that we had that resolved.
The ugly: Drakes injury. A lot of tackles by Ole Miss seemed to be resulting in injuries in the first half. If I were more cynical, I'd think it was on purpose. Penalties. Lack of cohesion.
The worst: We lost. That, and Auburn is kicking the crap out of LSU...looks like a bad night all around. Sigh.

Shelley graduated last year. LOL :-)

I saw some good in the way our defense played for most of the game. Christion Jones kind of screwed us with that fumble, but holding Ole Miss to 17 points before that was pretty damn impressive. I knew it was a matter of time before they hit a big pass on us, but I can honestly say I was proud of the way our defense played for the better part of the game.

I truly believe our spirit was broke when Kenyan got hurt. I am still feeling pretty down about his injury and just hoping he is feeling a little better pain wise than I'm sure he was. We lost our most talented player. Cooper is damn good, but Drake is more of a threat to me because he comes from the backfield most of the time. It will be a blow not having him.

Our offensive line outside of Big Cameron Robinson is so up and down it's crazy. The holding calls against Howard killed us. I still don't know how we come off a bye week and look like we did. We looked so unprepared it wasn't funny. My mind is just swirling at all of this that I can't even express a thought without starting another. I did not expect us to go undeafeated, but with Mississippi State, Auburn, LSU, and Texas A&M left to go, it sucks to lose the first of them kind of forcing us to win out to make the playoff. Oregon and Oklahoma losing helps our case, but we don't need to be like Georgia and let our destiny fall into the hands of another team.

Good- Scott, Cooper, Yeldon

Pretty good- Down linemen on defense

Bad- continued 'administrative penalties on offense'

Catastrophic- kickoff coverage, secondary coverage in the second half.

Nick Saban teaches and preaches the very things that this Alabama team continually fails to exhibit: consistency, resiliency, doing the little things right, discipline, ball security. I don't get it.

This.........It surprises me too. I may be mistaken, but I think Gary or Verne stated that this was the first time that a CNS team(while at UA) had more penalties than their opponent.

Good- Cooper, Yeldon, and Scott. I can't believe I listed a punter here, but the kid can boom the damn ball! Scary to think what he can do after he has had time to develop in the weightroom.
Bad- same dumb penalties. I can live with hustle penalties, but false starts and miss alignments are inexcusable.
Ugly- the brain fart by the secondary in the 2nd half.
