Nothing ugly, all beautiful. Defense - A+, Offense - A+, Special Teams - A

THIS is what I though this team could be going into the season. My hope is that the last two games were just the coming together of the chemistry required to go all the way. If they can continue to respond the way they did tonight - I think we've got a shot to run the table.

Having said that - I need to remind myself that this was the TAMU defense. So, my optimism towards the offense probably should be tempered. The defense, however, was absolutely dominant against a so-called elite offense and, as such, is a great source of optimism.

Good: Really enjoyed all the youngsters getting to play almost an entire half.

Bad: We dropped 2 or 3 interceptions.

Ugly: The one special team play late in the game when they run it back but it got to looking better in just a few plays.

We had some very timely plays called when A&M blitzed and we went to a screen—two were textbook.

That game was as close to perfect as you can see in CFB. And we played a ranked opponent.
