🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs WCU?

Good....well. Bama football...always good
Bad....really...who schedules this crap
Ugly.....power outage at my house....listened to first half on XM in jeep....commercials commercials commercials. Everything is sponsored by something.... eli missed a touchdown because of commercials

Good: A win and Mac Jones looked efficient. There were some screens but there were also throws down the field. Oh and the WR group is really good.

Bad: Brian Robinson fumble at the goal line to turn the ball over after a Waddle punt return that was initially rule a TD but reversed and marked out at the 3. BTW Waddle is one bad dude returning punts. Why would you ever kick to him.

Ugly: Tua being out for the entire season.... Oh wrong week but it still ugly seeing him not suited up. The number of injured players out for the game was ugly.

If you've got time, chart 'em.

FIRST QUARTER
  • pop pass behind the line to Smitty. Smitty takes it 8 yards.
  • pass incomplete to Smitty down field, pass interference on defense. Good throw.
  • screen pass to Waddle, behind the line, he takes it 10 yards.
  • pass incomplete to Forristal in the end-zone (10-yard pass). Not a good throw.
Drive ends in field goal.

  • deep bomb to an open Jeudy, incomplete. Bad throw.
  • screen pass to Smitty, behind the line, he takes it 57 yards for a touchdown.

- no passes on firs drive in second quarter. Drive ends in a punt.

SECOND QUARTER
  • deep ball to Jeudy for 44 yards, all of it through the air. Jeudy had to slow down to make the catch but good throw nonetheless.
  • 7-yard out to Metchie, he turns it into a 17-yard gain. Good decision.
Drive ends in a Brian Robinson touchdown run.

  • 10-yard pass to Smitty on a bootleg. He turns it into 14 yards.
  • deep bomb to Waddle for 37 yards, all through the air. Waddle had to slow down to catch it.
  • pass behind the line to Najee that he turns into a 12-yard touchdown.

- no pass, Robinson fumbled on the first play.

THIRD QUARTER
- 20-yard pass (through the air) to Jeudy, he goes for 22 total.
Drive ends in Najee touchdown run.

TOTAL
10/12, 275 yards, 3 TD
4-of-10 completions behind the line for 87 of 275 yards and two touchdowns.
6-of-10 completions were 10 yards or more downfield for 188 yards and 1 TD.
Both incompletions were down field throws.

Seems like game plan was easy short throws to build his confidence and then let him unload. The deep balls are a far cry from Tua but I mean most are. Be interesting to see what Sark tries to do against Auburn. I almost want to think we will see a couple of very early deep balls just to make them think.

well I hope the game plan is short easy throws that let’s our best players do their thing. honestly, I don’t think our oline will be able to hold up for deep passes anyway.

Good: Grilled thick cut pork chops and country style ribs for the game and drank/still drinking all natural beverages for the win

Bad: Being ranked #5

Ugly: Being ranked #5 behind Georgia.....they are #4 my ass after watching that display against aTm....LSU is going to skull drag the shit out of them.

You know why UGA is at #4 right now. If because in two weeks LSU and UGA played each other in the SECC. I think that those voters will kept LSU in the top 4 even if they lose to UGA!
