🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. Vandy

good - most complete game i've seen in a while

bad - for us? nothing, really. for vandy? too much to list

ugly - the commercial they played on the radio towards the end of the game. it was some song that they played, and they played the whole damn thing! i don't wanna hear no song, i wanna hear Eli and Phil...i don't care what the score is!

Good: Domination.
Bad: A nit picky thing based on the overall results, but Jalen still pulls the ball down to run too quickly.
Ugly: Not trying to score at the end of the game. I understand the compassion, but wait until you're under 3 minutes before you make it so obvious.

Good- Both side of the ball today.

Bad- The defense keeping the Vandy from crossing the 50 yard line.

Ugly- By the time, the 4th starter all you saw were the Crimson and White.

Good: the offensive line and d-line finally showed some heart and got a little nasty.. It showed

Bad: 0 sacks? How did we dominate so much and not get 1 sack? Crazy.

Ugly: Saban's hair. He is showing some age.. in looks not coaching

Good- Dominating OL play, suffocating D, running Daboll!!! LOL
Bad- Vandy wanted BAMA and got every last ounce!!
Ugly- kneeling the ball to kill the clock inside the 5! Don't know which is more a slap in the face, that or running another one in on you! Najee Harris teabagging the Vandy defender! Vandy and that Top rated defensive ranking they had. I tried to tell anyone that would listen that it was fools gold!!

Good: One of the more dominating games in the Saban era, felt like a statement game. There were some even calling for a possible "upset" and this felt like Bama saying, "we're still Bama."
The offense could have scored 100 if they wanted to. That was by far the best performance by the offensive line in a long, long time. Anytime you have your fifth string tailback in scoring touchdowns it's been a good day.
The defense was just as dominant, damn near had more points than Vandy had yards. That's insane.
Holy shit, how great was Nessler on commentary? I dont wanna pile on ole Verne, especially after meeting him and seeing how nice of a person he is, but damn Nessler just brings a completely different feel to the game. Perfect addition to the CBS team.

Bad: That I had to miss part of the second half because I had to head to Troy (after driving home from Auburn this morning) to cover that game (but we got to see the rest in the press box).

Ugly: Vandy thinking shit talking Alabama was a good idea.

Boom. Nessler is the shit. So fucking happy Verne is gone.... Can actually take the broadcast seriously now!

Not getting to see more Brian Robinson.
Did you know he was in on the second play of the game in the H-back role.

Bad: 0 sacks? How did we dominate so much and not get 1 sack? Crazy.
Weird. Thought about that as well. On the other hand, what does this make...32 straight games with a take away?

First of all, how many times have we seen this with Saban teams? Has it followed teams "smack talking" before the games? Is this Saban's way of making a statement to the other coach, or someone else?

I'd rather have seen them run the in, score, get it over with.

Ugly...punt returners catching the ball

In context, Loy has a weird way when punting. He's rolled out in a rugby style and when between the tackles it resembles an Aussie styled kick. He's pretty accurate...not an easy ball to field.

@TerryP , my "UGLY" comment was directed and meant more for Vandy. I have seen Saban do it countless times, in what I thought was more a show of sportsmanship. I too wish we had stuck another one in, much like I think a few of the players were more than likely begging Saban to give it to Ronnie Clark to get him in the end zone.

But I like the way the guys try their best to talk him into scoring. At the end of the game. If I think about it, these were all defensive guys too? I may be wrong, but the one I saw, were defensive ones! :D Coach Saban with that big grin on his face too.

Robinson was the fullback on goal line too. I know we ALL begged for Cody to get a carry and then Jesse Williams and then Ashawn Robinson but I really, really wanna see Payne get a carry on the goal line.
