🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. up chuck u

Good: 15 in a row... the run defense... held them to 64 yards on the ground. Jameson and Metchie, solid games with both over 120yds.

Bad: Special teams....4 and another zip code, you shouldn't even breath on the punter and you have one blocked on your end.

Ugly: Still to many blown coverages in the secondary.

Sark never called a perfect game either, but BOB is here now and gets the crap for his crap. The loss to A&M is not his, but he sure helped.

These are a bunch of nonsense criticisms, other than the 3 passes one (and BTW, that happened right after BoB called the prefect fake screen double move to Latu that would've been the winning TD.

Other than that, he's been pretty amazing. Folks can criticize every play that doesn't work, but his offense has outperformed the wildest expectations anyone had for this offense.

This offense is missing the explosive plays where they scored in like 1-2 minute on a regular basis. I think that is what people are seeing but I think that is also as much on not have the explosive players we had last year. There is no #6/#11 out on that field. They are good but not to that level of good. This offense is using the players we have and are much more methodical. End result is same except it takes longer to put teams away and your execution has to be better for more players. Of course that is harder to do w/o a hiccup. The 3rd down conversion rate was mind boggling against the Viles. It has actually been good all year.

Alabama has had three Heisman winners in its entire history. One of them was a receiver on last years team. About impossible to replicate that no matter how many five stars you get. It's just a different team, one without the best player in the country from last year. It's not that we don't have that ability, we just haven't hit on it as much. We will never replicate last season, and I don't think this coordinator is planning to or even trying to do that with his offense.

And, if I may add, not only the best receiver in the Country, but the WR, QB, and RB was the #1, #3, and #5 finishers in the Heisman Award. That kind of talent, and production is as about as rare as it can get.
ROLL TIDE!

And they've barely missed a beat. The biggest difference this season falls into total yards per game. In a purely numbers look they are having the same success we saw out of Clemson and Oklahoma last year...hovering around 500 per.

I find it interesting a lot are pointing to this team and their 3rd down conversions. It's the same as last season; just done differently.

I stated the 3rd down had been good all year. The Vile game was on another level.
