🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. UGA

Hoooooly hell, what a game and what a story.

The Good: BAMA won the SEC.

The Bad: Tua picked the worst time to play his worst game. He might have lost the Heisman tonight.

The Ugly: BAMA getting manhandled in the trenches for the majority of the game. Haven't seen that too much.

Credit to Kirby and the Dawgs, they came ready. I said before that they were going to make Tua and Co. work for everything they got and did they ever. They never suspected Jalen would be the Ace that Saban would play.

ROLL TIDE!

Good - Jalen.... Nothing more needs to be said there.
Also, defense came to play in the fourth.

Bad - Offense was just not good at all for the majority of the game. Tua had, by far, his worst game and Locks, too. Tua was forcing throws in double coverage, two picks in the red-zone with one of those being a pass that should have easily been a touchdown had he simply made a good throw. Everyone has bad games. Locks was very stubborn in not taking what the defense was giving, especially when the running game was clicking.

Ugly - Defense for the first three quarters was absolutely hideous. They didn't seem like they even wanted to be out there. They looked confused, sloppy and just flat.

Unbelievable that after a game that was by far the worst the team has played all year - at least in the first three quarters - you're still able to come away with a win.

Thank you Jalen.

Good: Won the SEC and going to the playoffs. We get some much needed rest and time to heal up.
Bad: dropped passes and offense struggled.
Ugly: Seeing another team being more physical than bama at the line of scrimmage.

Locksley lost Tua the Heisman tonight. A couple of times Tua held it too long but almost every pass call was a deep pass, no mixing it up. Also when almost every run between the tackles were good runs, yet you only called like 8 of those and too many runs outside for negative plays. Run it between the tackles and mix up the pass game and likely Tua does not get hurt and Bama wins by 3 scores.

I don't know if Locks head was not in the game or if he was trying too hard to get Tua monster numbers to seal the Heisman. Either way, poor play calls. Once Jalen came in, ot was throwing for first downs, not trying to throw 30+ down the field on every pass. UGA just ate the line up, knowing they were going to throw deep on almost every play.

Good - Jalen and the way we closed out the game. The defensive line wasn't getting much pressure on Jake until late.

Bad - The first half. Almost every aspect of the game. No pressure on Jake, letting the edge get open, dropped balls

Ugly - Tua. Not his fault he tweaked the ankle and I think that was messing with his mojo, but Jesus. What a rough outing.
