🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs UF

good: 2015 SEC CHAMPS!!!!!

don't care about anything else right now!

but i would like to add that i LOVE when Derrick told Allie LaForce after the game that he wasn't happy with his performance. he got the SEC single season record, got a score, went over 100 yds rushing.....and he's not happy.

I LOVE THAT!!!

Just to make sure I'm clear on this:

The Florida defense comes in allowing around 15 points per game, Bama scores 29.
The Florida defense comes in allowing around 285 yards per game, Bama gains almost 440.
The Florida defense comes in allowing around 111 yards rushing per game, Bama puts up 233.

Do people see a trend developing here ... and the Ugly part was play calling and offensive performance?

:doh2:

...I just don't get it sometimes...

Yeah because we could've put 40 on them with adequate playcalling. We had so many opportunities with our defense completely shutting them down. Don't forget that a lot of those averages were built up back when they had an offense that could move the ball.
Anyone who watched the fuckin game could tell you it was a frustrating offensive performance much like in the iron bowl. If our offense doesn't get more consistent, it will bite us in the postseason, when our defense maybe can't completely shut down the opposing offense.

You are clueless, man. Just clueless.

The Bad...... If Harris is the best QB they have, it's gotta be his back ups.

You're going to have to explain something to me here. I'm missing it, completely.

"...a lot of those averages were built back up when they had an offense that could move the ball?" Florida's success defending teams that run the ball well is directly related to Will Grier getting suspended? IF their offense has a direct correlation to their defenses success, when the offense digressed the defense would as well, wouldn't it? On the field longer, etc.?

"Anyone who watched the fuckin game could tell you it was a frustrating offensive performance much like in the iron bowl." One of those would be ... errr ... me. And, the way the offense performed Saturday fit—to a "T"—with what I suspected would happen and what I said I thought would happen.

I'm seeing what I consider to be total over-reaction. I'm seeing it often (but, fans...fanatical, I suppose it makes sense ... to a degree.)

Seriously. Bama has a punt returned for a TD. Here comes the "fire Bobby Williams routine." Never mind the fact that UF "stoned" the gunner coming off of one side. Never mind the fact Scott kicked the ball some 70 yards in the air—total—and about 15 yards past the closest gunner. Yeah, Scott got a hold of one and "fire Bobby Williams."

Play calling? There were people bitching about play calling after the first drive. Never mind the calls were feeding Henry (which so, so many people said was the problem.) Never mind Coker completed all of his passes in that first series.

That drive was stalled because of a sack on third down: an area where Florida has proven its one of the best in the nation. But, never mind how good they are! Let's fire ______! Never mind the results against a good defense, our staff ____!

Right. I'm saying their defensive stats were much higher than their season average back when they had an offense, and much lower after they lost their QB. You were using their year averages to prove that we did well on offense, but compare our offensive performance to FSU and you get a different story.
I'm saying, with how much our defense dominated, and how much possession we had, and how many plays we ran, and the great starting field position, etc, it's pretty sad that our offense only managed 27 points. I think if you accounted for time of possession and number of plays, we probably fared worse than most of their opponents' offenses all year
