🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs The Citadel

Good - Passing game & general pass blocking. Huge play by the D to get the scoop & score... Hard to say it but we actually needed a big play against Citdatel. (Credit to them and their coaches... They played their asses off!)

Bad - Run blocking. I know we broke a few long ones but we basically had to go away from it early because it was a no-go.

Glad someone mentioned it earlier... Sure looked like Savion Smith quit playing on one of those option TD's. The other he gave up outside leverage. Should also note that teams have popped off some big run plays running to Jennings' side after not setting the edge. Maybe I'm nit picking?

Ugly - Kicking. Oh. My. Goodness. How can it possibly get any worse than this....
It would not surprise me that neither the PK or the scholly punter will not be at Bama come 2019. Hell when the PK actually makes an XP they just get inside the upright.

Can't forget the ugly of having guys going down in that 4th quarter... So hard to justify.

Also - It appears Waddle has beaten our D. Smith. I don't know if he's actually "starting" over him, but it sure seems like he is being targeted more both in the passing and now jet sweep game. On any other team in the country Waddle would be a phenom... Such a weapon.

If by beaten, you mean Waddle's hamstring is better than Devonta's hamstring, yeah...he's been beaten.

On one of the long pass plays ( I think Irv Smith's) Devonta is running behind the receiver and he still appears to be have some tightness as he runs. He is just not as loose and fluid as he was. I think he is healed enough to play but not to healed enough to be the play maker he has been. I am sure he is getting closer every day.
