They don't like to throw the lineman downfield flag because it isn't reviewable if they are wrong.
It seems like the most accurate solution to the problem would be to make the lineman downfield a reviewable penalty. Then all these TDs where they go to review if the QB was behind the line can also review if the linemen were downfield and wipe out all this BS.
