🏈 The Good, The Bad and The Ugly vs. OM

Good: They didn't quit. Derrick Henry.

Bad: Deep passes, its just horrible. I mean I've never seen something like this, they cannot complete a pass down the field to save their life.

Ugly: Mistakes (penalties, turnovers, mental errors)

Good~ Defense, didn't quit, D. Henry

Bad~ play calling at times got so predictable I'm sure OM could figure what was coming next.

Ugly~ turnovers, deep throws that never connect

Good: Griffin. Made every kick and had an excellent onside kick.
Actually Griffith should be commended. His actual field goal attempt was pretty horrible looking but its because Bateman was horrible, he actually had to kick it on the laces. And that onside kick was a thing of beauty. Stewart should be applauded there too because him tipping the ball was what made it happen. I actually laughed out loud when the commentators were trying to suggest that it could have been flagged for "batting it forward." All Stewart was trying to do was tip it away from the OM player.

Good: Henry and the defense being lights out 90% of the night.

Bad: down field passing game. As said earlier, I have never seen anything as bad as this. Defenses can literally play 20 yards in K owing we have small to no chance at completion G a long one in the air.

Ugly: the offensive line. Ryan Kelly was abused all night, penalties, and just not allowing our quarterbacks any time to survey, set, and throw.

Good: Resiliency.

Bad: Pass defense

Ugly: Coaching - Particularly QB situation.

No offense to my Bama brotha's here... But I don't see how the Defense could be considered good tonight. I fully understand the TO's and field position put them at odds for much of the night, but we gave up 341 passing yards to Chad Kelly. They scored 42 points. We didn't create 1 single TO. They had some decent moments but they were certainly not good... JMO

I can see how the pass defense was bad but I (as well as possibly others) looked at it as line defense. Being able to stop the run and making some good sacks behind the line of scrimmage, that is what I looked at.

We had more yards. We held them under 100 rushing yards. It was all on turnovers and their luck.

There was a time when running and stopping the run meant you won in the SEC. I guess it still would have applied had we not had all those TOs.

Good: D but only some of the game, O again some of the game
Bad: D but then you didn't have the luck of the Irish on your side on two TD that Ole Siss score. Or did Christmas come early here for the rebalbear?
Ugly: Bama lost how ugly can that not be.

Good- the heart we displayed to come back in the 4th and even have a chance to win late.

Bad- two here - our luck on that play where OM nearly snapped the ball over Kelly's head, Kelly made a wild heave to avoid being sacked, the ball was deflected, touched a Bama defender, then on the ricochet landed in an OM receivers hand for a score, also the officiating for missing a lineman five yards downfield on the play where Kelly was straddling the line of scrimmage when he threw the ball downfield-I know this just isn't called nowadays, but when a DB is coached to defend a run when an OL is downfield, well..

Ugly- Turnovers.
