Good - Well... pretty much everything lol
Tua was unbelievable and Jalen was great, too except for the one pick.
All the running backs played well.
Offensive line did well until the third team guys got in there.
Defense really showed guts after getting punched in the mouth after the first play and absolutely strangled Ole Miss after that.
Trevon Diggs had a coming out party. Both times they tried him deep he absolutely owned their QB.
Mike Locksley has been an unbelievable play caller through three games. It's not just because he has quite possibly the best QB in the country and some of the best skill players in the country, but his formations and plays have been very creative. The new wrinkle with the two back pistol/shot gun set really, really could be a weapon this year.
Josh Jacobs' taunting penalty may have been the greatest 15-yard penalty ever. Totally worth it to see him mock that stupid land shark BS. Saban didn't care for it too much though lol
Bad - Kicking still sucks.
Jalen's pick. That was a horrible decision. Don't know if he got too greedy or what.
The first play. Savion Smith didn't give much resistance there. Seemed like Surtain and Shy Carter played the other side for the most of the game. I didn't notice Savion but hopefully he shakes that off. I think he's going to be good.
Ugly - The Ole Miss defense. It is quite possibly the worst SEC defense of all time and I'm not being hyperbolic with that. I truly believe they may give up 40+ upwards of 7 times this year. Absolutely pathetic.
Every time Tua made a big play the camera would pan over at Jalen. It really looked like they were hoping to catch him pouting or making a sour face, which really doesn't sit well with me. Jalen has handled this situation much better than 99% of people out there would or could and BS like that only makes things worse.
I gotta say, I've been pleasantly surprised with Locksley myself. But, he hasn't really been tested by a good defense yet either, so I'm still wait-and-see.
Still, 500+ YPG and 50+PPG thru 3 games is still pretty impressive.
