No doubt but in this case the TE was at the goal with his momentum going into the enzone. Hard to stop that momentum. The receiver for A&M did not run to the goal line and was actually coming back towards the QB instead of the endzone. Not trying to say the DB played this well just pointing out the Who TE executed much better.Either way, he should have been guarded and a better move put on him where the ball never reached him. He could have ran the most perfect route ever and the best pass ever thrown, but as a defensive guy you have to separate the receiver from the ball on a game winning/losing play, not come from behind and try to stop 250 pounds of momentum within a half yard.
