šŸˆ The Good, The Bad and The Ugly or Almost Ugly vs. Duke

You say that, yet we had third year starting All-Americans missing those same blocks, so it wasn't Ford. He fumbled once and y'all crucify the guy. He played decent for being thrust into the spotlight.

Y'all ripped Najee as well, but don't forget the 50 yard pass play negated from him that the linemen penalty brought back.

#22 has been at the Capstone going into year 3 and unless I missed something his highlight reel would be dayum short...I would say the 2017 Bama vs UGA NC game would be the peek. I believe he is doing the very best he can and Nick appreciates him do stuff the right way. He looks the part but he ain't it. Hit the Fing hole and stop all that dancing....but he will never change his style thus he is what you see.

You're opinion of how he runs takes zero away from what he actually produces. He averages over 6.3 yards per carry on his career. One game is one game. He does need to work on not dancing in the hole that much, but his overall abilities are more than 95% of the running backs in the country.

I was thinking our shotgun handoff's might fit him better than past RB's... I give them all a little leeway because I don't think that's natural for any RB, but I'm starting to reconsider because he is just so damn picky about finding a hole. The crazy thing is that he's so physically dominant that he can do things elite HS RB's do to HS kids, but in high level college games. So many times he's not supposed to beat teams around the edge but he will...

I noticed we tried to get under center and run a few times, or the pistol, and it didn't work. I'm hoping it was just a terrible game for the OL and that will still be an option. 1 time we went under center and he hit the hole at full speed, it was a thing of beauty! The potential is there... Now we need the blocking to be and he does need to get more decisive. RTR

Derrick Henry was a lot like that too. If you got him dancing, he was so big that he could never get going before getting tackled in the backfield. BUT, if he got going, he would simply outrun and overpower anyone that tried to tackle him. Najee is 6'2 - 230, and much like Henry with a little more agility due to being a tad shorter and a touch lighter.
