🏈 The Good, Bad and Ugly FAU Game

Good- offense continued to show progress, looking for more improvement this next week.

Bad- Coker taking a sack just before the end of the first half. Rule #1 in the two minute drill..do not take a sack.

Ugly- poor tackling on several occasions. See, hit, WRAP and drive!

What do you see as the good, bad and ugly from this game?

Re: the tackling .. they looked soft sometimes, letting guys slip through their fingers so easily. It wasn't pretty.

it's like they didn't have respect for the FAU offense and weren't wrapping up properly (or at all, sometimes).

Good- The return of some older guys on defense, playing a lot of younger guys to gain experience and confidence, and the offense continues to be a pleasant spot for me.
Bad- I don't care for passing the ball 3 straight plays inside the ten! You have a shot with play action on first and/or second down. Condensed field to work with causes too many possibilities of something going wrong.
UGLY- too many missed tackles. Probably worse than the tackling was some of the clothing I saw on some of the fans!! SMDH!!!

@PhillyGirl , I saw various people, male and female that looked like they had just walked in the stadium off a 5 day drunk! And I ain't talking about the students!! Saw several in what looked like the old housecoats that my grandmother used to wear, but they were t shirts with the arms cut out!! It's ok if you are of average height and weight, BUT NOT morbidly OBESE!!!

Good-OL play seems pretty solid. Good-we have some real speed on the edge on defense.

Bad: echoing sentiments about bad tackling, each qb had a mental error on the goal line-

Worse: Andre Ware's non stop blabber, I suppose trying to keep us entertained in a one sided game.

Sounds like everyday fashion to me; expects it's "look like an 80's hobo. I swear I don't think kids these days take there eyes off there phone to see themselves in the mirror before they walk out the door. Sorry; way off subject, but it's a soft spot for me.

LOL I was always a proponent of jeans and a sports related t-shirt .. That is basically my entire wardrobe in a nutshell, minus work clothes .. But yeah, I am embarrassed to share a generation with these people ..

One of my buddies said he was riding our ass hard after the WVU game all week long. How is everyone so certain that WVU won't turn out to be a quality win for us? We will find out in the next few weeks.

Good: no major injuries, OL is playing great, Sims has improved so much from the spring.

Bad: poor tackling. goal line snafu by both qb's.

Ugly: not allowing Coop to break the record.
