I don't know anything about Florida's program. Mine was probably different in the early 90's as it is now: the same principles apply. I don't know requirements.

@ElephantStomp what struck me as funny about my education being "right wing" was what happens in these environments. I don't know Florida's. I may be wrong here but my gut tells me you don't know Florida's New College: literally, nothing about New College.
