Despite the sanctimonious pontification, you're late - it was last Friday. But perhaps this serves your purpose more. I mean seriously, out of all the USN history you choose this. You don't care about the navy. My right hand man at work is USN vet. We celebrated on Friday like you're supposed to. He would beg to differ with you on your use of this.

Uncle was a WW2 Navy vet, older brother Navy vet in Nam, I’m a Navy vet, my son is in the Navy. I know when it was celebrated but this served a purpose, it is a reminder and you’re just angry.

You're working on your PHD, right? That answer, and the reactions you'd get in freshman seminars in New College would make you shrink. If you don't have a clue why Egypt has closed their border, how are you commenting on those same individuals? Egypt doesn't want Palestinians in; why? It's a point of consideration offered for thought...
