Getting old sucks.

I'm tearing down the ramp that goes into my shop, so I can build a new one. The old one is (was) rotting and starting to fall apart. And I really didn't want to step on it one day and wind up with my foot going through it. So I bought (most of) the stuff to replace it. I got the old one torn down, but damn if I didn't have to call it quits for the day. I was out of gas. And it really sucks. I could used to go all damn day and not worry about it. Hell, 10 years ago I could've gotten the old one torn down and the new one built all in the same day with hardly breaking a sweat. But today, I had to take a break from just tearing the old one down. And now I get to wait until tomorrow to build the new one.

Getting old sucks. It sucks and I don't like it.

@sean OR you can look at it like, "I don't have to do it today." 🙃

For me it's never been a "it's too hot" to be outside. Too cold? That has this time of the year written all over it. I have the same thing that needs to be done: not replacing, but a simple build off of a new deck. It's too wet as well.
