| FTBL How many wins will Georgia have this season?

Guys got back to back NCs. # 1 recruiting classes.
Could easily have had 3 peat .. wierd year
Very easily had best team last year.
I cant see KS going anywhere

10-12 million a year Hard to walk away from such

If they dip like Clemson has. Maybe start rumbling. But til
Then. Nooooo way
Bama lives up to the Bama standard Kirby and the dogs get put back in their place. If not then he becomes king until we (Bama) do something about it. It always come back through T-Town :).

Yep. We have been top dog. Hard to watch someone take iit away. Which they havent?.not yet anyway. But KS has it rolling. A few fickle fans may growl. But power brokers know...keep recruiting at KS level. Great things will happen!!!!!!
KD may also have something to say. His recruiting is spot on....

The thought he ( KS) will walk away from his alma mater or they will throw him to the wolves. Not realistic

How? I don't see a Bobo offense outscoring Bama. I don't see a Kirby led defense handling Jalen.

I can see Bama running right up the middle for 120 or more.

Hey. Maybe I'm wrong. No problem admitting that. I just don't see UGA as other do this season. Or, next

Off topic. But I'm starting to see Georgia fans/analysts starting to have the "talk" about Kirby's successor. He's coming up on a decade of being at Georgia, and it's getting to the point of where coaches usually call it a career. Normally I'd tell them not to worry because of his age.... but with the current landscape of college football, it may drive him away from it earlier than it would have back then. It's much better for the players, but twice as hard for coaches(I wouldn't complain making all that money). It's starting to drive away coaches, like Saban, and Whittingham(he's retiring very soon). Don't be surprised if we start seeing an influx of coaches retiring, or just leaving for the NFL.
Kirby isn't going anywhere. Those folks worship the ground he walks on. To be honest, why would he? He won't repeat the same success at different college program and the NFL is completely different.

He's worn out. A friend of mine has a son that plays baseball with Kirby's son in 12U, and he tells me Kirby simply looks drained every time he sees him. he also says he is very solitary, doesn't smile, and has zero to do with anyone. i can imagine some of that is he wants to watch his kid and be left alone, so no issues whatsoever with that, but even after that it's a family environment for everyone involved and he just keeps to himself.

So was Nick Saban. He always appeared miserable to me and he stuck around for 17 years. I doubt Kiby does anything different for next 5-10 years. Not, unless the wheels come completely off in Athens and that's not happening anytime soon it appears.

We sound like Auburn fans on here, wishing the "top dawg" coach would quit or leave. Kirby is the top coach in college football. As much as we don't want to admit it. He is. As for Auburn folks, they wished and hoped Saban would retire, go to Texas, the NFL, fall in a hole, something for most of Saban's time at Bama. I say, let's not worry about Georgia and kick their tails come September. We got bigger fish to fry.

Don’t forget too that maybe his behavior has been conditioned by how little other regular people want to relate to him as a fellow normal person. My guess is if he was more personable in public, he’d have to answer the same questions all the time about Georgia football, rather than being spoken to like another “dad” at the ballpark. This forces many famous or visible figures to change their disposition in public, whether by appearing rude or wearing sunglasses excessively to avoid eye contact, etc.

Well, when his kid and another kid both hit home runs in a game and they are taking pictures with both families (won them a Championship) and he refuses to take the picture while his wife does, there is something else going on.

I don't think Saban EVER looked miserable outside of this past year. I think his work around Tuscaloosa speaks for itself and for anyone to say he looked miserable doing any of it is beyond misguided in my eyes. I can say Kirby is not near as invested in Athens as Saban was Tuscaloosa. And Kirby even went to Georgia!

No one said "he's gotta go for us to keep winning". I prefer beat the best instead of hoping their best players go down or a coach leaves. All I'm doing is simply sharing counterpoints to yours that are being noticed from a personal friend outside of the building when his very own kids are involved. It speaks volumes.

How does the D adjust and how long does it take?
Adjust to what? It's no secret what UGA does, what Kirby wants, and what Bobo calls. Bobo hasn't changed that much since he was under Richt; just more freedom to throw the ball. That's something everyone has seen.

Fickell and Longo > Smart and Bobo. I'm more cautious about Wisconsin.

I would say this even with a CNS coached team. D simply needs to be better than it has been the last few years in my view. Just have not seen what a Womack coached D in Tuscaloosa is going to be. You know i want to see it actually play out on the field. Ultilately I want a shutdown D but you already know that and believe it is impossible.
