It's a sobering thought when I consider these people having to shelter in these evacuation centers. They'll literally be on top of each other all the while being told to stay away from each other.

Came in last night...eye has passed over Lake Charles.

All of us that grew up in the state or in the southern states on the Gulf know the damage a hurricane can have on communities. My heart goes out to everyone that has and will face the wrath of this storm.

I pray that everyone is safe there in the path of Laura. I pray for that state as well when it comes to recovery. It was '05 when Katrina struck and there are STILL some areas that look like it happened yesterday.
