🏈 🔎 Looking ahead to this weekend: Missouri. (Jefferson, Hubbard, Ty, and Formby interviews.)

I think it will be a game for awhile but I do look for us to pull ahead and come out with a win. The thing that does concern me is that we are coming off two physical games with UGA and Vandy. We now have to focus all our attention on Missour and not look ahead or what we have already done this season. Playing in Columbia is not a plus for us but I think we will be ok.

That's where we revert back to playing more people than usual. I see more rotation at RBs, OL and WR while I'm defense everyone on that side rotate.

I predict Mack get some playing time in 4th quarter.

I want to see third down ... data.
Efficiency with possessions, not third down, overall ... not as good as Bama or Vandy (at #2 now.) All three are top ten.

When you combine the efficiency numbers and those of Connelly's SP+ I think we'll see that Mizzou takes a bit of a hit. Those haven't been calculated yet.

TeamRankings has them #1 in conversion, 22nd in number per game.

Interesting 🤔

Good for Kalen to state a hard reset. After the last two weeks, a lot of emotion, tough wins, and media attention, we can't afford to slip on a game like this because it's not a marquee name or matchup. I think our boys will be ready and give Missouri all they want.

Transitive Six Degrees of Separation.

Is there a such thing as "transitive rivalries?" IE: People saying "look at KU" and thinking about those two schools in basketball.

I have a few thoughts on this game now that I've had a little time to 'surmise.' To start...

I keep coming back to 2012; Alabama's road trip to Mizzou. Yes, Bama was up by four scores in the second quarter. So, there wasn't a question about the outcome unless Bama came out dead after the storms passed. It was around five o'clock and we were still getting "30 minutes, lightening seen..."

I don't know if there is rain coming Saturday. With two weeks to prepare a few offensive scripts? Using the phrase "survive the storm" fits to a 't.'

I haven't watched any previews of the game. As of this morning I don't have a lot of curiosity. I did hear Doering, yesterday, say "Bama was going to struggle, physically, with the 11 AM kickoff after coming off the UGA win."

Wont mizzu play at 11 also....ummm

I would think. In my limited mine.....a road team has more advantages in 11 am game.

Certainly....l
1....fans arent near as fired up....with Hardees sausage and egg biscuits...n coffee.
As opposed to other meals and beverages.....consumed for later in day... so crowd noise... seems so for 11 games i go to
2...teams have more structure...meals...sleep... not out with girls...friends coming by....etc. in their hotel rooms...
3...team more together as a group....night before the game....for meals ....

Evening games seem the wildest. For the crowd....lighting....crazyness....where home team has advantages
