Do you guys feel like we have seen everything in our offense :?: Is there a possibility that there could be some potentially explosive plays with some crazy formations just waiting to pounce on our remaing opponents...mainly Florida??? Some of that super secret stuff that gets let loose just when the time is right :D Just me brainstorming...Our secret may just be to beat them down..which aint no secret.. :D

A good coach will look at game tapes, and find holes in the other teams defense and exploit it. I am pretty sure they add plays all season long, but to say they have some secret weapon play in their bag of tricks, I haven't a clue.

My guess, they have variations of plays and formations that they will run that haven't been seen against other teams, and at certain moments they will throw it in there to mess the Defense up. I am sure, mainly, they will stick to what has gotten them there.

New wrinkles are often added each week.It may be as subtle as same play new formation or player grouping, or it could be the flea flicker or double pass. A throw back to the QB. It depends on the film study as to whether to knock the dust off of a wrinkle or pull out the playbook.

Maze. Would liek to see a reverse with him, or a bubble screen.

Walker. TE is such a great weapon when used right. We could just wear Florida out with the TE, I know it. If Walker got 7-8 catches against them, that would inflict a bunch of damage.

There are still things that haven't been shown. In most games, the plan has been very, very basic... but there is quite a bit more there.

Exactly, since the basic playbook of an OC is thick as heck. Even more amazing are the vast amounts audibles that can be called off of the basic plays. There are plenty that we won't probably see till next season IMO.

How about this. Travis Mcall at TE on the left side. Andre Smith at LT and Cody and Left Guard. If our running game is having problems gaining ground. I think this left side would gets us some yards.

Especially if teams line up in the shotgun the whole game taking Cody out of the defense.

I think I could get 5 yards behind THAT line.

CNS actually addressed this in a PC awhile back. Said he usually had at least 1 "trick" play per game, but didn't always get a chance to use it. Of course we could see the Uno package with Scott!  ;tr

As a kid in the early 90's i really enjoyed watching David Palmer when he would line up at quarterback...and what was even more awesome...he wouldn't always run the ball. He did pass every now and then, if memory serves me correctly. So i'd like to see something like that again. Don't know who we could get to do something like that this year though...maybe Maze or someone?

I seem to remember BJ Scott being able to pass with both the left and right hand. Roll out left and right with run pass options is a nice twist.
