That's a definition hit to the head lol.

The announcers the other night I think during the Eagles maybe the Houston game were saying they didn't understand why Houston got rid of him. I've wondered that very thing....makes no sense it's not like they upgraded

It was mostly a financial reason, although they'd like you to believe he couldn't play in a 3-4 (Wade Phillips defense). Plus he was coming back from an achilles injury. Seems to me the Eagles are going to burn him out if they keep playing him like they did last year. But then again, maybe that's their plan, use him up before his contract hits the big numbers.

A lot of draft buzz this past year centered on finding his heir, but maybe next year ..
