| MBB/WBB 🏀 Alabama Grinds Out a 79-69 Victory at LSU

Big difference in FT opportunities. LSU staying in the game because they have hit like 13-14 FT's with Bama only 2-2. Bama needs to get more agressive on offense aget to the line more. On D gotta stop reaching and fouling. Now Oats technical was a 4 point swing otherwise it would be a 9 point versus 5 point lead.

I don’t even know why players are coached to stand flat footed with their hands above their heads when offensive guy backs into the basketball for a shot. A foul is gong to be called no matter what. IMO just a waste of time to coach this.

As bad as it has been the production value on these games gets worse: our announcers tonight.

We're watching Bama hit a cold spell for the last four to five minutes of the game. The story gets stronger legs as the game goes on, "impressive LSU defense."

Was it though?

Granted, they held Bama to four points less than their season average. Alongside that, Bama scored about ten more than LSU has allowed, on average this season. And then we've got 45% from the field, 45% from 3, and over 90% from the line.

Miller not at his best, getting called for foul if he's inbounds on the court...win by 10 on the road. Weren't pretty but I didn't hear anyone say it was a beauty contest. :)

Was an odd line up Oats had out on the court during that run and a lot of standing around dribbling at the top of the key. Seemed to be more about Bama and what we were not doing on offense.

.win by 10 on the road.
Should have been 15+ were it not for the 4-5 minute drought at the end. We were up 12 for a big part of that but did not push the lead higher.
