| FTBL Updates on Alabama players that are entering the transfer portal...

This offseason has already been a bloodbath. I hope fans rally around the guys that are sticking around, at least. NIL - at least in its current form - and the way the transfer portal is is just killing college football or at least my passion as a fan for it.

I think this will be the case. Alabama fans love their team and in this environment I think it will be on another level with the respect they show guys that stay. I can't imagine the money and support Justice Haynes will receive if he stays.

For those that follow that childish bitch Kiffin on Twitter... he's making a veiled statement on targeting Bama players. If you're unsure who, check the roster and see which ones are from Mississippi.
Justin Jefferson? He's from Eastern Mississippi IMO ;)

Guessing you mean Oatis, hmm and I heard earlier this morning Georgia was also trying to tamper with him.

I feel very numb and apathetic towards it all tbh.

Only ray of hope is, it's all headed on a collision course. We've talked about a lot, and it doesn't do much good right now, but it's going to hit the fan at some point soon, and there will be a reset on the whole system... with people like Sankey (and Saban) having a voice in how it is framed... that, at least, gives me some hope.

I just think it will take a literal act of Congress to do that. The NCAA is so useless at this point. I love the idea that players can make money of their name, image and likeness but the spirit and point of NIL was not "Hey come here and we'll give you a freaking Lambo" and just handing guys bags of money to come to a school. This is so far past what it was supposed to be for it's beyond insane and the only coaches that have even gotten into a little bit of trouble (to my knowledge) was FSU coaches getting in trouble for driving players to a meeting with their collective. The NCAA is so useless that they even backed away from the one transfer rule. You have guys like TJ Finley that are going to be on their fourth team in four years. It's ridiculous.

I completely agree that the NCAA is worthless. They'd probably do well to just start pouring all their resources into basketball so that maybe they'll have something to fall back on when they get left behind on the football side like the Pac-12 did.
